Operation: Make All Killers Really Strong

Here's a quick-and-dirty list of ideas to significantly bump just about every killer's power level up to something resembling an acceptable level. Nothing for Hillbilly, Nightmare, Nurse, or Spirit, since they are at the power level that everyone else needs to be brought up to. Maybe Demogorgon too, I dunno. He's too new for me to say.

I have NOT put a ton of thought into this, but it should give you an idea of how much chase potential and map pressure I think killers really ought to have. All killers need to be as relentless as Nurse and Spirit. Maybe (probably) some of these are too OP. I'd rather that be the case than too weak, though (which is what almost every killer currently is).

  • Cannibal: I don't know. God, what a stupid character. He needs a top-to-bottom rework.
  • Clown: He can throw bottles at generators that create gas clouds, which last either a significant amount of time or flat-out forever on that gen. This gives him a way to dramatically slow down progress and find survivors, which he struggles with.
  • Doctor: Bump his Treatment Stance movement speed up to 115. Infinite aura-reading on madness-infected survivors (maybe only at specific tier levels?) -- this would make him a constant threat and keep survivors off generators.
  • Ghost Face: Marked status doesn't go away until a survivor has been hooked (notice I very specifically did not say "downed"), or they personally finish a generator. Essentially, once he finds you, if you're not paying attention and breaking his stealth, you're doomed.
  • Hag: Bump her movement speed up to 115.
  • Huntress: Bump her movement speed up to 115.
  • Legion: Can teleport between lockers on a cooldown. Survivor tracks don't vanish during Feral Frenzy. Legion needs more RELIABLE chase/map pressure overall.
  • Pig: Her RBT supply is no longer finite, and RBT'd survivors cannot make progress on gens.
  • Plague: Make her puke last literally forever, on everything. Gens, pallets, windows, hooks. This would help to create a permanent existential threat to survivors and slow the game down, hopefully enough for her to be a huge threat. Maybe all gens just start the game infected, as part of Plague's kit.
  • Shape: Downing someone with Evil Within fully resets its duration. His biggest issue is being able to capitalize heavily during tier 3, which is when he is an actual threat.
  • Spirit: I lied. Bump her movement speed up to 115.
  • Trapper: Give him a finite trap inventory that he always has, like Hag or Freddy. Disarmed traps re-arm on their own, on a timer. Basically, take away all the downsides of him constantly having to pick his power up off the ground and place it somewhere.
  • Wraith: Bump his cloaked movement speed up significantly. Maybe to 176 (same as Spirit's while phasing), or is that too extreme? Anyway, this would allow him to actually have some map coverage, which is currently his major downfall.

Hag doesn't need a movement boost, she isn't a chase killer, Agreed on LF. Huntress doesn't need increased movement speed. Legion thing would be a really good idea. Shape thing isn't needed. Spirit doesn't need to be stronger, Trapper buff sounds good. Wraith sounds good. RBT's just need work not unlimited RBTs the game would never end. Plague does needs increased puke timers on objects. As much as ppl say ghost face doesn't need a buff. clowns buff sounds good

Ignoring basically everything except trapper since everyone else has workarounds even Leatherface. All trapper needs is double the amount of traps on the map and to start with 3 of them with all traps auto set at the start of the trial.

Trapper needs a trap system like hag, and no rng in getting out of them. Both hag and Freddy are a better trapper then trapper is.

    Pig seems...excessive.

Easiest way to buff killers without having to do anything insane is roll addon's into base kit like they did with wraith, hag and pig. This has the benefit of also allowing people to easily understand how much stronger a killer would get because of the change. This approach would work for basically everyone but huntress because the main thing holding her back is bad map design and not really her power.

Like I said upfront, a bunch of these ideas ARE probably way too crazy. But in general, I wish more killers were way bigger threats than they are.

No, it wouldn't be too extreme on Wraith.

Since you compare it to Spirit, i'll do that as well, with the Wraith change in mind.

Spirit takes some time standing still to get into the Ethereal Plane, then gets to move with the higher movement speed (with COMPLETE stealth btw), and can decide by themselves when to immediately end it unless they hit the Power limit, which then goes on a cooldown.

Wraith takes some time to go into the Spirit Realm but can still walk, then gets to move with the higher movement speed without complete stealth, and can decide when to get out, but slows down while getting out and getting out takes a second or 2.

Wraith has 1.5 things over the Spirit.

    • 0.5 points: He can walk while activating his Power unlike Spirit. But since this can be used as mindgames for Spirit, i'll just give it half a point.
    • 1 point: Spirit's Power is on a cooldown. Any Spirit main will know that's for a very good reason, but nonetheless it's something she does have and Wraith doesn't.

Other than that, Spirit has a lot more advantages, including the very important complete stealth.

Not having that is a pretty big cripple for Wraith.

This change would give him map pressure, but his lethality would stay pretty much where it is now.

It would buff "I just hooked" Perks pretty hard though, like Barbecue & Chili, Make Your Choice (Oh dear god, MYC with this Wraith buff), Pop Goes The Weasel, etc.

But honestly, he could really use the speed buff, regardless of it not affecting his lethality.

If you want any map pressure on a map that ain't The Game or Lery's, you practically need a "Windstorm" Add-on.

Or, y'know, take the niche Play With Your Food.

Wow, i can really talk a lot once i get going.

Too Long; Didn't Read - Wraith buff: Yes pls. 😎

    The others: Idk. 😅

Half of that didn't make sense.

But honestly, if all killers were as strong as Doc, I'd be happy. I don't need a Nurse or Spirit to be happy with killer strength.

BTW, huntress is fine as is. bumping her speed would be a really bad idea.

You want a stronger Doctor? Alright, I’ll give you one:

    1. Increase shock therapy range by at least 25%. The current base range is ridiculously small to the point where you won't even want to use it because you'll be in M1 range. Adjust range add-ons to compensate for this buff if necessary.
    2. Increase movement while charging up the shock to at least 105%. He can lose a lot of distance from just trying to use his shocks. Currently he moves at 85% speed while charging up the shock, which is way too low.
    3. Remove the shock delay. This is just dumb, I really don't understand why it exists in its current state. Is it to give Survivors a good chance to dodge the shock?
    4. Significantly shorten or remove the transition between switching modes.
    5. Add the illusionary pallets to his base kit. They would spawn within an unlimited range of the Doctor every 20 seconds (like the current version of the Very Rare Order add-on).
    6. Have the Order series of add-ons either buff the illusionary pallets somehow (maybe let the Survivor drop them if they’re standing) or do something new instead (like have the illusions perform some kind of action).
    7. This one is just personal (I'm not even sure if it's true), but the illusions shouldn't spawn on a different floor than the Survivor they're tracking on multi-floored maps like The Game. It's really annoying to check one floor because of the illusion and then find nothing because the Survivor was actually on the other floor.
    8. New Ultra Rare add-on: Dr. Otto Stamper’s Files. The static field becomes map wide and shock therapy range is increased by 50% but the charge time is slightly increased (10%). This will not stack with the Order add-ons (they increase madness gained from the static field). Most of this idea came from @Mister_xD.

There you go. Super strong Doctor.
