Can someone give killer tips?

I’m fairly new to the game, maybe 300-400 hours or so. I’m a rank 4 survivor yet I can’t pass being a rank 13 killer. I’m starting use Demogorgon and really like Michael. The only other dlc killer I have is Bubba but I don’t think you guys would think it’s a smart idea to play him. Can you give me any general/ specific killer advice that can help me?

Leatherface isn’t bad. I’ve played him in red ranks for a long time.

His biggest weakness is to find, chase and down the first survivor. Then you NEED to snowball from there or you will lose. This doesn’t necessarily involve camping, but, if you need to camp for whatever reason (toxic click-click-click survivors, gates opened, etc) he’s the best at it. With good map awareness you can easily play LF without camping at all. His biggest strenght? SWF can’t bodyblock/gangbang you.

    Myers...

Generally stalk until you have EW3 one tap away, then reach it when you feel you can get more than one down. You’ll get comfortable with timing etc there’s no advice about that, it’s just a matter of experience.

The ultimate Michael Myers experience (from both killer and surv perspective) is with the mirrors add-ons. Just use an offering for a closed map (Lery, Hawkins, The Game) and learn to mindgame.

I have no experience with the Demogorgon yet.

General killer tips? Always apply pressure on gens, don’t ignore that guy repairing because you’re chasing someone else unless you’re going to down him immediately. Don’t give loopers what they want, if they don’t fall for mind games then chase them and let them stun you, they won’t be using that pallet again.

Keep an eye on the three gen rule. There are always three generators extremely next to each other. If they repair one of those, mid-end game is going to be bad!

Also keep in mind that audio is important more for killers than for survivors. Use a good pair of headphones and listen carefully around you.

Thanks :) Do you know any good perk combinations with Bubba/Myers that I might want to get?

No killer is bad if you know how to play them

Stop respecting pallets, especially if you have enduring

break pallets immedeatly after they have dropped them, unless they drop it on an unsafe loop

Here are some more suggestions that may help playing Michael at rank 13:

    •   Getting out of tier 1 is usually more important than getting your first hit. When they see you and run away, carry on stalking them as much as possible.

    •   Hide immediately after getting tier 2 if the survivor is unaware of you, then continue stalking. Hopefully the survivor will assume you stalked someone else.

    •  Stalk from the edges of the map where survivors are less likely to look

Try to not chase 1 survivor for too long if you're struggling to get them downed. Usually what works best for me is if I see that the chase is not going to end soon, try switching to a different survivor, because usually people will see that someone is injured and will just relax doing generators but you can really surprise them and get a easy hit plus sometimes you can catch the previous survivor you chased off guard. Try to not stay around the hooked survivor for too long because what happens is people will try to gen rush you do patrolling generators after you hook someone is best way to chase someone else (it helps if you have BBQ or Pop goes the weasel).

Myers is my favorite killer so how I play him usually is to stalk all 4 survivors even so if you sacrifice someone you will still be able to use your tier 3. Low terror radius really makes a difference if you're using Monitor & Abuse plus Dead rabbit add-on you can really sneak up on them from behind. You probably know this but try to stalk someone until you have tier 3 almost ready with a slight tap for next survivor. Best strategy for me is to have tier 3 almost ready when I hook someone so if you find someone you can really easily down and hook next one.

With Leatherface what I usually do is try to sneak up as close as you can before you charge your chainsaw because if you charge it up too soon you won't be able to get them. Also try not to charge chainsaw near windows/pallets because you won't be able to hit them unless you are using some kind of fast charging add-on. It's better to hit them with normal attack in that case. Generally Leatherface is pretty basic killer and is not hard to learn but you will sometimes struggle against good survivors because they know how to easily dodge the chainsaw. Bamboozle, Spirit fury, enduring pretty good perks for him since you can easily chainsaw them that way.

Demogorgon I would have to say is a pretty good killer so far since I've started playing with him. He really does have good map control if you place your portals well around the map. Also try not to place them directly in the sight if you're placing them around generators, try to place them behind something and in the grass so they are hard to spot. When using shred attack it's very good in narrow areas because survivors will have hard time dodging it also you can easily make survivor drop pallets sooner since you can charge your shred attack and they will be forced to get hit or drop a pallet and you will break it. Make your choice and devour hope are pretty good on Demogorgon since you can easily get away from the hooked survivor with teleporting away.

I hope this will help you and really best way to learn is by just playing and mastering one killer and don't give up if you lose a game, that's how you will learn from your mistakes.

On my Michael I use Dying Light, Ruin, BBQ, and Thrill of the Hunt. On my Demogorgon I use Ruin, STBFL, BBQ, and Surge. I only have Michael prestiged level 20, Bubba level 16, and Demogorgon level 36. Should I start leveling other people for a better build or level up my killers until 40?

I highly recommend beelining for the teachable perks you want and try to avoid any teachable perk that you don't want for as long as possible. I have the Demogorgon stuck at level 40 because I don't want to pollute the bloodwebs of other killers. Admittedly it's not as big a problem now that they have buffed the bloodweb.

I think you have really good builds for both Mike and Gordon though.

Thanks! Also, should I be using any of Demogorgon’s perks? I use surge level 3 on him because cruel confignmemts is either really good or bad on certain maps and mindbreaker is only good really game.

I would avoid Cruel Confinements as you usually don't want to be running towards completed gens.

I would also leave Surge out of your build for Demo as it will not activate if you down somebody with your Shred ability.

So should I be using mindbreaker or another perk on Demogorgon? I don’t play killer much because it takes a good 15 minutes to find a lobby and anytime I do find one it’s a 3-4 stack swf with flashlights/toolboxes. I also haven’t really played any other killer.

His ability a pop out from a tunnel with no terror radius would lend itself well to Make Your Choice.

    It's a Pig perk.

Surge is actually not bad but you need to remember it only works with standard attack so if you use the shred attack to down someone it won't activate. It's actually pretty good perk, I used it on my Demogorgon and it saves you the time to go around kicking generators. I would still prefer to use Pop goes the weasel.

Well I don’t have clown and I only use shred for long loops or for my obsession to not lose stacks on stbfl
