New Hallowed Blight lore?
With how much lore and cinematics were included in the last hallowed blight, I'd say that we can assume there will be more this time around.
Anybody got any good guess's?

I'd say explain what they did with all the blight samples. We got em' for a reason right? (maybe it could show us the Power of the entity! Maybe it could make him the next killer? Who knows...?)

Hopefully they do the same thing as last year, and give us a new journal entry every day of the event that slowly tells a story. It was so cool last year.

I personally hope that this year we get to see the experiments/escape/mutation scenes of all the test subjects like we did with just Trapper last year.

I really enjoyed those scenes and I really hope they kinda do a daily spotlight where each killer gets a scene where their gradual deformations and odd growths are shown. Like we see them getting injected and then them being in pain and their anger growing and then their escape.

King did a fantastic interview with Mathieu and Mathieu explained that the Archives are coming this patch, alongside the release of the Withering Blight event. Meaning the tome we get for the first 3 months is based off of the Withering Blight. Meaning we are getting lore for the Withering Blight in this tome in the next two weeks

Aww, were there any more detailed information about the Withering Blight? Will it bring new animations, goals and journal entries or simply repeating that of last year? I'm so hungry for lore, my VPN broke and now I cannot visit youtube :/

i believe the archives pertain to the withering blight, meaning we will be seeing journal entries and (hopefully) cutscenes, only they'll be revealed to us in the archive's format.

This event also proves one thing, if I assume correctly.
Time isn't linear, or at least, the killers don't come in the orders we see them come in. The Plague wasn't playable during the Hallowed Blight last year, and I think this current event takes place on the last hours or days if I heard right.
So this will be interesting.

Devs put something out on Twitter. If you complete one of the tomes, a cutscene will unlock continuing where the cutscene left off from last year. (Maybe it’ll be longer considering you have to work a lot more for this) This is gonna be a good month!
