Face it Killer Mains..
Until DC fixing is done, you have to play the most blandest, mildest killer to keep the survivors from dcing.
You aren't allowed to use Purple perks (because they are OP) and not allowed to add-ons beyond yellow rarity.

Punishing dc's isn't going to fix anything. Survivors will kill themselves on hook if they don't want to play that match anymore.
A better solution would be to fix why survivors dc in some cases. No one enjoys going against broken addons like iridescent head huntress or prayer beads spirit.

Could ya not? That isn't how you balance. In this case, I'm not even sure you can other than punishing DC's. There isnt any way to keep EVERYONE from DCing other than that. Defanging the Killers (even more) isn't gonna do anything more than piss Killers off.

Ppl DC for any number of reasons. I've had ppl DC against a completely mild build Myers, just because they got downed within the first minute. What's the "fix" to make THAT guy wanna stay? I couldn't even get him to a hook because he DCed while in my arms.

Are you actually complaining about BNPs? Seriously? They are useless and have been nerfed into the ground! Its insane that uncommon addons are now better than ultra-rare!
And tbh - insta heals are weaker than iri hatchets and ebo-moris...

I was trying to get my adept plague on ps4 today and i suck with her i finally have a game that looks like i might get the sweet sweet merciless killer. two swf DC after i hook one of them i ask why then they tell me to stop riding so and so's genitals then tells me to shut up im about to be bent over by husband then sends me a video of two morbidly obese people doing the dirty and claiming its them. YEP life of the bad plague player.

Do you actually think only survivors DC? I cannot tell you how many games I have killers DC as soon as we power the last gen. Or if they swing and miss at me too many times.

- Toolbox Repair action is replaced with Install Brand New Part.
- Installing the Brand New Part will complete 15 % of a Generator over 5 seconds.
- During the install, you will be faced with 2 difficult Skill Checks.
- Hitting each Skill Check will result in 5 % progression each for a maximum of 25 % added progression.
A 1/4th a gen done is under powered? You don't have a concept of balance.

It's 1/4th. Literally. That is 1/4th to your gen being done instantly. So in numbers, that is 1/4th of 80 seconds needed to fix a gen solo without great skill checks or toolboxes or perks.
Congratulations! You shaved 20 seconds off that gen! Being 100% naked other than a tool box and a BNP, you shaved 20 seconds off your repair.

Not at all. Insta heals are a problem but nowhere near as bad as eboni mori. Once moris are adjusted then they need to tackle iri-hatchets, prayer beads and insta-heals

Well at least you are level headed. But I mean, look at my math up there. With no perks, or whatever, it takes 20 seconds off a Gen. In the current meta that is a big deal. Is it the most OP thing in the game? Hell no. But it's still a big factor.

Well I played yesterday the entire day swf, and I never saw so many dcs from Killers then yesterday xD. I even had a Pig main behind my ass chasing me and she dcd after 4 gens with a ebony mori, she didnt hooked one survivor.
I mean why do ppl dc from there own mistakes? Just get beaten and learn from your mistakes but yea we are here in Dead by Daylight Death is not a escape but DC is!

Everyone complains about survivors and killers DCing I’m sorry, but it’s stupid to be upset when someone leaves a match. You can’t make survivors or killers stay in a match that they don’t wanna stay in.
Ex: If I’m getting tunneled you think I’m just supposed to just play it out? No I’ma Leave and move on to next match because I’m not having fun.
I’ve seen People with Deliverance found first and left match because they can’t use deliverance. WHO CARES! :/

People that think that you are entitled to stay is pretty freaking pathetic. News Flash you don’t have to stay. There’s a leave match button for a reason (TO LEAVE GAME) No dedicated server will fix that. That whole “leaving the match screws over your teammates” is a BS excuse to make people feel bad about leaving. I literally had 2 people DC at 3 gens left - me and my friend both made it out without a key completely all 3 gens. How? because we are decent survivors and we know how to loop and run a killer. It shouldn’t matter who or how many people DCs there will be thousands of more games after.

Some people are salty and will dc no matter what. Just saying devs can reduce the amount dcs by nerfing the broken addons. When they start punishing dcs, those people will kill themselves on hook instead of dcing.
BNP's aren't that strong anymore imo but if you really want to nerf it, maybe rework it so when you are using the addon, all skillchecks count as great skill checks.
Insta heals should heal you over time, like second wind.
Ebony mori and the other killer addons are way more broken than these imo.
Again, some people are just salty. They will kill themselves on hook instead when they start punishing dcs. Only killers will get more points with this change.

You say some add-ons are broken... but I play Legion. I don't know what add-ons you speak of. (No really, Legion add-ons are the worst) But as you said, some people are salty and will DC no matter what. So you fix the "broken" add-ons.... and guess what? They still DC. The only ones i think are broken are Omega Blink Nurse and maybe Prayer Beads on Spirit. Iri head shouldn't stack with things that give you more hatchets but a bad Huntress won't hit you anyway and a good Huntress doesn't feel the need to use Iri.

Legion doesn't have any broken addons. I'm talking about the other killers addons. Devs can easily reduce the amount of dcs if they rework prayer beads, iridescent head(you shouldn't have additional hatchets), nurse's addons (they will be reworked in the next patch), and ebony moris. No survivor likes going against these. Someone almost always dc's when someone uses these.
Also, people act like killers don't dc. But they actually do a lot. Just today, someone dc'd because I 360'ed them at the beginning, someone dc'd because their ruin got found immediately.

You missed the joke. 90% of Legion's add-ons are worthless. Like there is a purple one that takes 0.6 seconds off the stun at the end of FF....

If they rework the ebony mori into a 2 hook process this will only increase tunneling because killers will fill like they may not get those two hooks, Huntress can only get 2 Iridescent heads at best which don't see them ran very often maybe they can increase the rarity in the blood web if there's a Huntress out there with 99 Iri heads saved up but it just seems like it's another shift to give survivor's more power which you guy's are to OP on Comms, all these changes and yet the gen speeds and totem spawns stay the same don't get me started on BNP while three survivor's are even two on a generator, are two tackles one while the others work on separate gens if it's getting changed in this direction maybe they shouldn't make any change's at all

The thing is, you can remove purple and pink addons if you want, and you'll still have survivors DCing just because they were outplayed.
And meanwhile, killers have to deal with more broken stuff from the survivors side and dont DC.

Yes. I don't think that fixing "Broken" add-ons is a way to fix DCing. The people that rage quit will still do it. I will even admit to doing it as Killer when 3 gens pop at the same time and I get this sudden feeling of "Why even bother?" Killer add-ons are not the sole reason for DCs and never will be.

Ebony mori already encourages tunneling in its current state.
Huntress can carry 3 hatchets max with Iridescent head.
I'm saying you can REDUCE the amount of people dcing. Salty survivors will always dc or kill themselves on hook.
Ebony mori is easily more broken than anything survivors have.
Never said they were, but they are a big part of why people dc. No one wants to play against broken addons or ebony mori. People play this game to have fun, and those addons make the game very unenjoyable.

Here's the other thing... what about those survivors that DC just to ######### up the Killer? The Killer Depips if everyone DC's, and SOME (not all) survivors will do that just to ######### up the Killer, call them trash and #########, and tell them to kill themselves for picking that Killer. (Guess How i know all this?)
No amount of game fixing will fix that. The only way THAT could be fixed is with punishments or making survivors Gods that can just stomp literally every Killer so they get there rocks off.
Oh also, Ebony will make Killers Depip as well. So serious Killers will not use them unless they have a daily. (Guess how I know that.) Guess what makes the game unenjoyable for me? Keys, Insta Heals, DS lasting 60 seconds, being t-bagged and BM'ed every pallet, people saved with BT body blocking me cause they know they are immune... I can keep going.
Just pulling "EBONY MORI IS OP SO I DON'T HAVE TO JUSTIFY WHAT I SAY!" doesn't work.

Agreed and like woman said people do have a right to leave the match, but it shouldn't effect the killer and their pips or progression towards rank.The best solution is to make it where if someone DC's your progression doesn't count because its always going to be a win or lose situation with rank in general so by haulting killer progression during one of these DC matches you don't lose your position in rank, all the actions you do preform should just count for blood points are double in the area's where you would for your rank progression, because obviously if you 4k for 5 matches in a row this become your outcome for matches if you don't preform the same actions you lose rank anyway or safety pip and If you DC on either side obviously you will depip

Again, punishing dc's will make them kill themselves on hook. Unless they disable that too, this issue will never be fixed. The only useful thing is that survivors won't be able to dc to give their teammates the hatch or dc to stop killers from pipping or earning points like you said.
If the devs refuse to do anything about why people dc ON BOTH SIDES, nothing will change.
The things you said are unenjoyable because of you. Don't tunnel or camp, you won't get hit with ds or borrowed time. You can even dodge the lobbies if someone brings a key or they are playing swf etc. Survivors don't have that luxury. Killers can choose who they want to go against.
