Dead Hard on Dedicated Servers...
Has anyone else been experiencing instances where Dead Hard doesn't work?
Like, it still shows the Dead Hard dash icon as well as exhaustion, but the dash animation doesn't play and you go down?
So my question is, why does it register the exhaustion/dead hard icon (which is what happens when the ability is used) but you still go down?
Furthermore... the perk's description specifically says that when the perk is used you avoid damage.
Is there something wrong with the way it is registering on the dedicated servers?

No. Sometimes it just doesnt do its dash. Should be a known issue. Also it never did avoid damage, the text is just not a good wording. The avoid refers to the dash, so you avoid it cause you dash forward and there is no hit registrated. Killer would just kill themselfs if it could avoid damage by IFs.

What I want to know is why would it register as if Dead Hard actually worked (meaning you get these icons):
But you got downed when you would have normally dashed.
I'm trying to figure out if this is a bug or intented.

There definitely is some problems with dead hard, I'll have perfect timing and still get hit through my animation.

@aazimuth It's also happening to me when trying to dash over a trap... I get in the trap instead.

Its a known issue as i said. Just another bug still in the game. Happens every once in a while. Its not a dedicated server issue.

What Dead Hard does is it temporally removes your hit-box it doesn't grant you an invulnerability state like Mettle or Borrowed Time do
Likely what's wrong with the dedicated servers is the DH lags behind meaning you either get the no hitbox status way earlier or later

But this was never an issue on p2p with the exception of really unstable or red pings. Now, even if you have really no latency you'll get hit even if you time your dead hard perfectly.

Yes, i have the same problem, and also with the killer, hitting a survivor through the window is imposible, you need to stick to the survivor now to get the hit... The dedicated servers sucks...

Where people get this information that it doesn't avoid damage? It avoids damage, since release. You can DH trough HB who chainsaws towards you, if you time it right you go trough him. If you sit in corner and use DH when killer swings, it's miss, even when you didnt actually dash anywhere. If that doesn't count as "avoiding damage", I don't know what counts.
