Camping is a strategy get over it and do gens

So many salty camping posts.... Yes it's annoying to be camped. But if your team loses to a camper; Maybe you're just not that great of a survivor team

I don't get these arguments. You are saying camping is a valid strategy.... so why is it so bad to lose against it? Why insult people for "losing" against camping... I mean if it is so valid... right? So really they lost to a valid strategy. Winning and losing happens, you aren't meant to win all the time. Bad matches happen. Especially with randoms, you never know what you get and hey, if something doesn't work out it doesn't work out. Experimenting is great too, trying new things and strategies. Some workout, some fail. It happens, but that adds to some fun.

I think camping works, because it takes time especially for a non-swf team to understand what is going on, if they aren't using any perks like kindred or bond, you don't know what's going on if you are just doing a gen. It's like WTH why is that guy not saved yet? So you leave and find out, but that wastes time. Some people stay around the hook instead looking for opportunity, sometimes it pays off, sometimes it does not.

I think people complain about camping because as you said it's annoying, it just isn't fun. So, really it's just hey I am not having fun, and I would like to have fun! It seems like everyone agrees that camping sucks... but there's still debate over that o.o

If you can somehow make it more fun, I think people will not care as much. And you'll stop seeing all these posts.

    Doing gens is a strat.

I hope you’re not the type of person to be upset about “gen rushing” when you’re “kill rushing.”

"Kill rushing" lol yeah don't mind you getting 5 gens completed while I wait 4 minutes to get 1 kill

Well it’s 2 minutes first of all. Unless the survivors complete 3 gens and ruin is gone before your first hook, you’re probably gonna get at least one more

Ummm yeah all good killers have a time and place they WILL camp. But yeah if I lose I'll get over it. That's just what you're meant to do right?

I mean you're assuming no one will have ds or borrowed time which is real unlikely 4 minutes to get 1 kill is probably about right. 2 minutes if no one comes for the save. Dev's said it themselves if you feel like you're being camped best counter is to just DO GENS

Okay. So I hope to never see a post here with you full of tears because of gens going off quick in your matches 😊.

You throw a random number out there and make it sound like a fact. It takes 4 minutes to kill someone! Congratulations. You’re a classic DBD forum poster 😀.

but how does doing gens benefit the person being camped they die first hook with barely and points and don't rank up anyway

    The Killer gets minimal points.

Its like training an animal 😉

I, too, get frustrated when the Killer goes all out to kill me in a role that is literally about killing me.

When I hit 'Ready,' I know that I may have a boring game sitting on gens all game, may get camped out of the game, or I may have a game with 'normal' gameplay.

Some rounds are funner than others, just like some killers are 100% focused on securing a kill and others are not.

I know it's a crazy concept that every round / killer is not going to play the same way, but hey, why not try to hold someone else accountable for your own fun and gameplay experience?

It is the DBD way, after all.

The thing is a lot of people did. It really affects the new people more who don't understand what needs done and then of course the emblems mean if a killer camps and the survivors do gens to punish it they cannot pip or even black pip at some ranks.

The devs made changes to try snd stop camping and people along with just doing gens so they play around more but when the strat to punish someone punishes yourself it causes frustration.

LOL Y I K E S. Looks like I've made someone feel a little spicy. "Random number and make it sound like a fact" I was being generous with my 4 minutes but I guess I should try to calm you down and say "It takes between 2 and an infinite amount of potential minutes to kill someone" there.

See I have the same mentality as you. I agree with you whole heartedly. Being camped and tunnelled to death is absolutely not fun. Although I hate when there are times "camping or patrolling" is literally the best decision to make as killer and then players winge about it in endgame as if camping was the most OP strat in the game to secure a 4k.

Stay on the hook and buy the team as much time as possible. The killer made a poor choice to camp and now you both get poor bloodpoints and both get a de-pip. Pretty mean yes but nonetheless not OP and definitely not what you want to do.
