Go in the comment section and look at the pinned comment, then scroll through the pinned comment's comments and you'll see that they asked the creator the permissions to use the chase music in the game!(and he accepted!)

I saw some comments exchanged between them. I thought it was just to be shared on dbd media services as in shared on the dbd Twitter account or something.
I'll investigate your claim later. I refuse to believe it and be hyped until I know for sure that it's happening.

well, they literally sent him an email asking for his signature, thus it is basically a contract to allow them to use the chase song... and they wouldn't bother asking for his signature if they were just going to share it on media

I'm pretty sure the signature in question was referring to the permission to share on the social media of Behaviour interactive's product named 'Dead by Daylight' thus not providing sufficient permission to use the property of the music track in their product.
I played a few hours of Phoenix Wright therefore I am a qualified lawyer/solicitor.

Im still skeptical on if they just want to promote fanart or if they are going to add it in but i wouldnt mind that addition.
The rhythmic chime-like sound from the killer PoV section can be very nice or end up very annoying after hearing it multiple times. Im not sure.

Not_Queen already confirmed that simply because they wished to use this persons "chase theme" on their end of things it DID NOT mean they were adding it to the game.
Now I'm sure due to the traction this is getting that they have to have plans for implementing new chase themes in the future, but I would hazard caution when reading into these things.

Legion could have alot of different music honestly, but a more metal theme like when there were released would be nice. (I've seen suggestions that each member have a different theme or each mixtape, but that's unrealistic.)
Doctor could have a few different things but I think a more lab or mad doctor vibe would work for him.
Trapper would have something like Jason but more suspenseful to ramp up the "Oh God is that a trap?" Feeling
Clown would have a distorted Circus theme. It would be more and more warped the closer he got, reflecting his lore how he would sneak up on people under the guise of a Clown but when he had them he tormented them to death.
Killers like Bubba or whatever, use there theme from the movies... other than Ghost Face. They only got the rights to his mask so no idea there.
Plague would have chanting that got more and more frenzied/desperate the closer she got.
Just some ideas off the top of my head.

On a more positive note... it's honestly amazing, seeing this small video blow up... I was there when it was posted to the DBD subreddit in the first place, back when it was still unknown... I wonder how it got from there to here?
I honestly wouldn't mind waiting longer for new chapters if it meant we got unique chase music and such.

Every killer should have their own theme imo. Like everyone has heard SAW’s theme it should’ve been in the game.
How I see it:
Unique killer themes can only be played while on the their respective maps.
While on disassociated maps the current music rotation would start playing.
Maybe then, and only then, would I ever consider using map offerings.
