Object Rework When?

We need this desperately, it is way too strong when you have an entire team on coms that know your location, what your doing, who your chasing at all times. Let me know what you think, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Do you really think that people are gonna remember how the depip squad of marth completely broke the game, even against red Mori nurses? This is not gonna happen. People are basically main survivors, and don't play both. They're never gonna understand how uncompetitive the gen Rush is

Thats not the point. Besides that, bringing up the Depip Squad all the time is quite weak.

    @Topic:

I mean, Object surely needs some Rework. But this will probably not happen. The new Status effects which are for Stealth Killers, are basically the Counter to Object of Obsession - even tho they also counter other, much weaker Perks, which did not really need a counter.

So I doubt that anything is happening to Object anytime soon.

Played since launch and have played and won many high profile tournaments under the team name of Instant Dodge. (750$ TydeTyme tourney, x4 Space Esports 150$ weekly ritual tourneys) And can say that OoO is the sole reason many killers other than spirit or Nurse aren't played in a competitive setting. It guts them to the point of it being sad, trapper especially. It is perfect information with little downside. That downside of being seen is only usable by killers that don't have to spend a large amount of time getting close you you, ala Nurse and Spirit. Huntress is just a big sad.

How to rework it is up in the air, but it should not be in the state it is today.

I will say that you have to be good at the game to use it effectively.

I'm glad someone shares my opinion, I know especially in this community talking about balance can require taking some harsh responses.

I think the Undetectable status effect was devs "fix" for Object of Obsession.

I view it as the survivor equivalent of a Hex perk. Its high risk - high reward.

I agree, this perk is way too strong when in a swf party. It should be disabled from use when in a party at the very least. When it's a solo player it is debatable, but there is no debating the swf advanatage.

As someone who mains Freddy and Ghostface, hopefully OoO gets gutted in the next 10 minutes. Loading into a match as Ghostface against a SWF with OoO is just a huge waste of time.

Sadly, unlike a hex perk, Object users' survivability depends on their own skill.

Killers have little to no control over their hexes.

Yeah makes half the roster of weak killers even weaker, needs looking at.

Object really isn't the problem here, it's more a SWF problem. My idea is just have a Quick Match and Ranked be separate, and have 3-4 man SWF on Quick Match, but Ranked is only 2 people in a group, that way it's still strong for SWF, but not gamebreaking like it is now.

Every since Undetectable and Oblivious status effects came out... I doubt they'd add another semi-nerf to Object. At least it won't effect stealth killers like it used to.

Like most issues that affect killers, I don't expect a speedy response from the devs.

They have shown themselves to be rather obtuse when it comes to killer hardships.
