Fences on Haddonfield
While I know that alot of people have mentioned the "Had No Fun" map needs a rework, I am not sure if anyone has brought up the fact that fences should be swing-overable. It's a fence, not a wall or a force Field. It makes no sense why the Killer would just swing at the chest high wall. The new map kinda has this difference already doesn't it?

They are swing overable

You can swing over them if they're close enough

They are? They must have changed it then cause last time I played on that map and tried it I bounced off. DO you have to aim higher or something? I still see people getting looped around the fences, people like Tru3, so I figured it was still the same.

Huh.... well thank you. I'll give it a try next time. I did also notice I could hit people on the haybale thats right under the vault point of the Harvesters. Man, that Loop is annoying. I always feel like I am gonna lose time there.

In Rancid Abbateur you can hit a survivor through the metal railing thing in the main building
I discovered it at my expense
Maybe they fixed it but I don't think so

like many others said, you can in fact swing over the small fences. its the same range as through windows btw.
the same goes for the fences at the thompson house.
the metal bars @LCGaster mentioned were a bug that got fixed recently, if i understood the patch notes right. so those are not intentional.

Survivors have to be real close for a hit to connect.

Nice

How is this in any way relevant to the post?

The RNG has nothing to do with this post. This post is exclusively about the being able to hit over short fences. Calling someone dense because you started talking about a completely different topic is a bit unnecessary don't you think?

they are swing overable, but if the survivor has any sense they just move out of range. the fences still need to be looked at.

You can definitely swing over them. It hasn't changed, it's been like that since the map was released.

Apparently thats a bug being patch in 3.2.0.
But the Haddonfield fences are intended to be hit over and have been since the map's release.
I've had survivors freakout over this in after game chat before. 😆

I'm just amazed at how many people are saying "swing overable" in this thread.

Honestly it's kinda fun to say.

They are, only if they're close enough.

Not to bring a dead post back. But just tested it with my friend as Myers and me as Jeff. as close to the fence on both sides and aiming all over. You can not swing over them.
Not as far as we could work it anyway.

I def remember being able to swing over them but survivors nowadays are a lot more cautious so it's hard to test. It's possible that they somehow unintentionally changed it or just forgot to document it.
But as a related matter, I wish they didn't act as a vertical force field and you could fly over them. It's really jarring how they stop your forward momentum while falling when you jump off from a balcony.

Yeah it is. Tried to Shred over them with Demo, stunned in midair.
