4k
Do you always try for the 4k? I usually try to follow the horror movie rule of one getting away...

Usually people who try for the 4k are the ones that sweat, and I don't like to sweat, I like to have fun.

If I feel like the last survivor has real star power, sure. Whether due to being an exceptionally helpless and innocent noob or fighting for their lives with all they've got.
If it's a lady survivor and she's outlasted everyone else while not being toxic... I think horror movie rules do indeed say she gets away. I think it's the Strode rule.

Strode rule, I like this.
3 -
I just play.

If the last survivor runs into me when there's 2 left then i will tryhard. When i close the hatch i just patrol, see if they can escape.
After i did my achievements i dont care that much anymore what i do in games :p

i try to follow my own rules....last survivor lives...try not to kill birthday cake survivor...just smack ppl when they use party streamers...
i've had a little wee bit of tequila to drink tonight...so i'm just auto no mercy if it comes down to that...

Most of the time, no.
I prefer hooking the third survivor and giving the last one a chance to escape.
Wasting time by slugging the third survivor is really sweaty imo.

what if you're trying to get the close hatch 50 times achievement?
0 -
I always try to get at least a 2k. After that I go for a 4k. :v

Then close the hatch. I've been playing for a long time and 4ks just don't mean that much to me anymore.

what rank are you or does rank not matter to you?
0 -
Rank 1 survivor and killer at the moment.
All I know is both sides are sweaty as hell.
0 -
how do you reach rank 1 if you dnt sweat? time?

I usually try to put forth enough effort to get a pip. When you have played for as long as I have, it's not that hard to get a pip.
Of course, some people will go to extremes in order to win.

As a sweaty try hard, “sweating” doesn’t get you pips.

i play drunk so trying to keep track of everything i need to meet as a killer to pip just falls in the background...I can't mathmatate while drinking...well i can but the results vary 😂

define sweaty try hard "sweating"...
i'm drunk, i'm 4king, i'm ranking up...am I being sweaty??? I have no idea...
0 -
Trying to end the game as soon as possible, doing anything to win (aside from exploits or hacking), snowballing every survivor. Stuff like this basically guarantees that you won’t pip.

Doesn't matter to me if I 4k, 3k, 2k, or 1k. If at least one Survivor dies, than it's a win to me. Even if no Survivors die, if the game was fun I don't really care...
I rarely get 4 man escaped now a days, unless it's a seriously coordinated team or a SWFs like a few weeks ago late at night. Otherwise, I don't really get 4 man escaped, and it doesn't matter anyways if I do or not...
It's more so about the fun, it isn't really about the objective to me anymore. Of course, if I'm up for a challenge by facing a coordinated team or a SWF with a less viable Killer, than yes i'll give it my all. Otherwise, I don't really sweat over the small stuff if that makes sense.

I'm not being sweaty then, but i am using spirit. Not using those certain addons, but i'm using headphones....but i'm drinking...but i'm 4king like a jackass in green ranks...shots

I play Leatherface in red/purple ranks, I sometimes de-pip after winning due to my play-style.😅

the few times i've played bubba...i'm just sucktastic...i play survivor better than bubba 🤬

I've been playing Plague in the red ranks. If I cared about gaining rank it would be incredibly frustrating that I keep getting "Brutal Killer" for 4ks with 30k+ points.
As for going for the 4k, it really depends who I'm left against. I'm not going to actively let someone go, but if the cocky person who looped every pallet is still in the last 2 I'm going to make sure they aren't the one to get out.
Yesterday I let a Nea go from 3 chases because I kept finding her on gens, but I'd seen Dwight cleanse in the opposite corner of the map doing nothing, so I hunted him down instead.
I also had a match with a Nea who was clearly new, and I made sure to take her to the hatch, and she didn't even seem to know it was a way out. It turns out she was rank 19 in a rank 4 match, so that felt good.

I play less than 25 matches in a week, and most of the times even less

i thought you were talking about resolution.
i was thinking you wanted your pc to explode.

If I'm dominating I'll usually let 1 go.
If its a close game I'll go for the 4k.
If its a point event I'll usually offer the request to farm is no one wants to then I play normally and follow the above rules.
If its a "toxic" group then I'm going for a 4k.
If only 1 or 2 people are being "toxic" then I'll play normally but I make sure they are the ones to die.
If I'm playing Nea then I always go for the 4k.

My style may be "sweaty" according to what people post here. I play for the 4k, amd play to do it as fast as possible. In my eyes, a 4k is a complete victory. I find winning fun, amd there isn't antthing wrong with that. I expect others that I am playing against to be playing to win also, which in their case is escaping. So if I don't I'm at a disadvantage. I don't like addons due to my philosophy that if you can't guarantee use of something every round, you can't be consistently good.
I don't see why a lot of people, especially on the forums, see it as "below them" or unsanitary. Everyone is playing for their own reasons, and as long as you aren't exploiting or cheating, there's nothing wrong with the way you play.

Do to the point system for killers, they are forced to try and 4k if they want to pip. The game has made it super easy for survivor to rank up but killers may get more BP but are punished hard on the current point system for so many things that the fear of neutral forces the last kill.

I agree that everyone can play how they want as long as it's within the rules of the game. I really don't like the term sweaty...
Is playing the game at your best while within the rules of the game really sweaty?
when ppl play analog games, do they not try to win? I hate corn hole(the name and the game, but you bet your drunk ass I'm gonna try my hardest to win). Would that make me a sweaty corn hole player???? lmfao...sweaty corn hole player...
