You complain about Nurse’s huge cool down but also forget her add-ons...
Add-ons reducing blink recharge duration. Stacking green and yellow will result in Nurse already having 2 blinks after fatigue aka NURSE LIKE NOW, just “without add-ons”. Someone told she is even OP without add-ons and presented videos of some streamer. Maybe, this cool down is FAIR nerf?
Anyways, it’s early to say something until it is tested in PTB.

And 2.5 seconds of that cooldown is already gone after your fatigue.

And even with this “huge” cool down Nurse will be able to catch Survivors much more quick than regular m1 Killers.

You really don't hear yourself do you? They basically made two add ons nurse has to rely on, and if there's one problem any killers that share, is the problem of having to rely on specific add ons and not allowing for a variety of add on usages and diverse plays. And also, everybody only asked for one thing, which was changing her add ons, but decided to do other things that we didn't ask for and was not needed at all

As if this game doesn’t already favor survivors in every way possible. They have to come in and nerf one of the only killers that hasn’t already been nerfed into the ground. I play on ps4 and the balance is already SO lopsided to the degree that there are so few killers at red rank that killers are being matched up with red rank survivors almost exclusively starting at rank 12. Because there is no one their own rank to matchup with. If their goal is to push people towards quitting and playing another game altogether, I think they’re doing a pretty good job so far.

A killer who is only viable with addons has a trash m2 basekit ability.

See, I don't get that. What's the point of fatigue if she has a cool down now? And that cool down plays out during fatigue. Why can't it be one or the other? It just sounds like this cool down crap was a last second decision that they slapped on for no other reason than to do it.

You do realize she has to blink to make any kind of distance? She's not a 4.4 or 4.6 killer.

Single blinking around the map? Are you trying to make Nurse a dead character? Why don't you make me weapon wipe then go into fatigue every time I hit a survivor too?
How would you play maps like Lery's and Hawken's. Where every turn is a guessing game? You will lose any decent survivor one blinking around that map.

Plenty of players have been playing nurse with no addons and random perks on her because if im not mistaken..
Nurse doesn't need ruin
Nurse doesn't need good addons to win
So running the 2 addons to make her current no addon nurse sounds okay to me.

I prefer never using addons on any killer. The only killer I begrudgingly use addons on is Moldy Electrode for Doctor because base range sucks.

Blind faith is blind faith, be it in a ghost man in the sky or video game developers.
I believe I understand why the developers made these changes. Some won't believe it (whether it's true or not), others will refuse to believe it and other s will at least accept is as a possibility of believe a different reason.
When it comes to spending money, I will always refuse to accept something on blind faith though (that's called gambling) Even credit card companies won't do that.

Waiting for your second blink to recharge in dense LoS blocking maps will make any competent survivor nearly impossible to catch. You would have better luck with a Wraith against 4 old insta blind flashlights. Then when you do happen to land a hit they would more than likely have Dead Hard.
What I'm getting at, the devs are adding a cooldown on top another cooldown. If the goal is to give survivors more time they could change fatigue to limit her perspective of survivor location. Current fatigue is 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, .., plus 1s if you swing. They could of easily made it +2s if you swing. Made you less able to track while fatigue. Adding two cooldowns to a single action is punishing to do the action. When it comes to Nurse, you have to use her power. There's no turning into a M1 killer to chase.

Yes! Exactly! Which gets back to my original point. If people understood WHY we can't have an OP killer they would probably complain less.
these changes definitely blow but understanding the importance of the survivor role allows people to say "ooooh, yeah that makes sense now!" Instead of just being angry about a "killer nerf".

Oh that is probably how they felt About legion, shortly after releasing him. MoM do you remember that "scam"? Nobody could guess what the perk would lead to no no.
They caved into bad Players and that is it. They will do it over and over again. That is the reason why Trapper is broken, Clown is broken and doctor is broken and legion got broken. Just really really sad and they do not fix any of that crap.

Well see. When it comes to pvp games a good sign of balance is when both factions are pissed. IS killers saying the nerf is too big and survivors saying the nerf isn't enough.
I haven't seen a single survivor sides complaint yet. That's a red flag that this is a Major nerf...

Nobody called legion op, I played old legion a lot and sure, they weren’t strong but they had no counter play in chase, MoM was changed because it has next to no counter play. That stuff was unhealthy for the game, that is why it was changed.
Also, Trapper is another main of mine and he ain’t broken. Doctor is next on the list for changes.

3.5 seconds is a long time and 6 seconds total is 24 meters the survivor can make on you. Take that one blink is 20 meters after a 2 second charge time which is an additional 8 meters for the survivor. Only thing the Survivors needs to do is run in a straight line.

I agree with this. I think she was one of 2-3 killers that rewarded practice. She sucked at low levels but became great with practice! But we can't have high end killers frustrating 80% of the player base so she needed a nerf.

Then mindbreaker is a good perk, three seconds is a lot of time after all.
People said original MoM was too weak while others said it was too strong, does that make original MoM balanced? No, it didn’t.
Nurse needs tested before we decide if she is too weak.

Thats actually a pretty good point. Ill have to test this in the PTB. Hopefully this isnt going to be the case. And if so, they need to make some changes to the charge time perhaps, or maybe reduce fatigue timer for missed swings/ no swing

Apples to Oranges. You are comparing a perk that what? Delays Sprint burst? To a power that needs to be used constantly? Time adds up and Nurse doesn't have movement speed to fall back on.

Dont get me wrong he needed to be changed but the way they did it they gutted him. I dont mean why it was changed xD I mean why it was released that way in the first place, everybody told them that this is broken. Yet they did, People bought it and it was a cashgrab. They didnt bother that it was unhealthy for the game, they didnt care that it made already weak Killers even weaker.

And no, MoM was correctly pointed out to be a overpowered piece of ######### perk the moment it was announced. Survivors were saying it sucked so BHVR wouldn't nerf it.

Exactly, Time adds up. Multiple survivors will suffer the three second exhaustion several times so mindbreaker is a good perk. You can still use it constantly, you’ll just need more strategy with it.

Just about every killer that has been released since early access has been met with divided opinions. Legion was terrible....then OP.
Freddy was OP...then terrible.
pigs traps were OP, now people counter them
SPirit, plague, clown....all met with mixed reviews...all nerfed or buffed after.
Freddy rework: nearly totally one sided and it was a HUGE buff for him.
Nurse changes: VERY one sided. Based on the past it's a clear nerf.

Imaging Leatherface base movement was lets say 4 m/s. You move much faster when using your chainsaw but after each use you go into a 3s mini tantrum. 3s later you can use your saw again.
Sounds like a lot of fun yes?
But Mr. K, Leatherface can't go through walls. Well on Rotten Field neither can Nurse.

I think the reason survivors arent voicing any concerns is that we dont have too much at stake here. If the Nurse receives a really well done and fair rework, then survivors win. If she gets a legion level nerf, survivors win.

Not comparable, blinks go farther than a LF saw and you seriously don’t play on rotten fields much if you think every wall is impassable but I’m done with this Nurse discussion, it isn’t going anywhere.
