One week of the Halloween event is not ENOUGH ! :’(
I literally waited the entire year to finally play the best event in dbd... I thought it would be like last year : 2 weeks it was perfect ! I’m afraid that I’ll be disappointed on that but can they change the date of the release event even if they officially said it starts the 22nd to 1st ?

2 weeks was way too long. Most of us had all our serum by day 2 or 3 last year. 1 week is plenty of time. Plus the serum is in the free track of the Rift so you'll have until the next rift opens to get all your serum.

I play only the night cause it’s the only period of the day im free so no I can’t get all serums in 2 days ^^’

Why would they want to make it longer while they can get money from those cosmetic.

Who has serum on day 3? Nobody I know. Especially considering they didn’t change the design to be one universal “pool” instead of one collection per side until like 5 days in, and killer queues were horrendous.
I played for a good 3-4 hours every day and still took about 7-8 days to get everything. And in any case, you get to keep earning bonus BP even when you’re done, as long as you have offerings to burn. Nothing wrong with that.
I would ordinarily agree 2 weeks is a long time, but honestly, it’s only because they’re starting on a Tuesday that it feels awkward. That’s only one weekend, which is prime time for those of us who work during the week. If it went, say, Thursday morning the 24th through Monday morning the 4th (11 days) it would be perfect.

Last year, with of all my serum collected, I only could buy a piece of Halloween cosmetics (in 2 weeks)... while I played everyday during the event but only the night - -‘

The serum is in the rift this year guys.
The rift sticks around for like 60 days. So unless they remove the serum from the rift after the withered blight you will have like 60 days to get it. The bloodhunt and menu are all that leaves with the blight I'd assume.

Serum didn't take long to get. Also, there's always a bunch of sweats during events so I'm glad it's not as long as last year's.

I only played nights at did the last one in 5 days.
This one isn't the second objective for survivors so looks more like the past events as we just have to do gens and hooks. Those were much easier to get imo and I think 10 days will be enough.
Anymore and I think people may start to get bored and want the normal game back so players for one stop farming as much.

I mean, most of us had nothing too do for those 2 weeks, which is why most people got it done in 2-3 days, but I agree that the event should be 2 weeks. Not every can play the game long enough too get the cosmetics they want, and it's unfair for them too pay because of things like jobs and such.

Just because you buy a book doesn't mean you deserve pages 32-38 and 120-165.
Just because you use your money on someone's product doesn't mean you get access to all of what that product offers everyone else? That's bad business practices and triple A studios have suffered for that in the past.
10 days would be a great compromise for those who work. Especially because they spent some of that work time to purchase this product. They traded time of life essentially yet the devs can't give them time to grind.

I hope the way this new one is structured a bit differently...
Because suiciding on hooks because your vial was complete as a Survivor wasn't the most... fun experience to play with, and against...

The serum is in the rift this year. You don't get it by doing gens/hooks anymore. You get it for advancing on the free track of the rift.

None of those are the same thing. Bad analogies. Also, the event is 9 days and the cosmetics can be earned for 2 months.
