Why is there still no point to devotion?

I remember in like June or July of 2018 Not_Queen said there was plans to better the devotion system or something, but its still just a pointless number with no benefit.

    It's not really surprising, they finally changed freddy in 2 years, maybe devotion will get changed in another year or 3.....

    Also remember console is supposed to be on it's way to 60fps and the performance there is also either getting worse or staying the same lmao.

    The point of devotion is so you don't need to keep earning more and more XP to level up. Yes it would be nice if you got some kind of reward for each level of devotion, but it's not entirely pointless.

    But its worse after you actualy get reset. It's so much dumber getting shards at a low level, I'd prefer staying at the same level pace then before it resets me

    I think they should give an extra 2% bloodpoint gain boost for each devotion or something.
