It's good.
One thing that's unfortunate is that a lot of farming back in the day used to happen after the last gen had been completed, and then survivors who didn't want to farm could leave and it was no big deal. You can't do that anymore. Since the EGC became a thing, I've only had one group of survivors who held back on opening a powered exit gate just to farm. However, I still prefer it this way, where survivors can't hold me hostage on the map indefinitely after the last gen has popped or when there's only one of them left alive.
It's also unfortunate that Pig got nerfed for this with no buff to compensate.

The only thing I don't like is the exit gate spawns. Sometimes way to close so the killer can spot them both by standing on a position just moving the camera, other times waaaay to far from each other (Gideon map for example).

I don't like the exit gate spawns as well, otherwise its fine by me

It would be better if hatch only spawned if X number of gens were complete like the old days
Hatch shouldn't spawn until the right number of gens are completed, BUT even then bring back hatch stand offs, find me a killer camping a hatch, and I'll have a better chance of opening an exit than I do now.

It's good.
All they need to do next is to rework generators................

I think it was a great idea.
It solved game hostage situations

It would be better if the timer didn't slow on down/hook
I was around before it was implemented. I expirienced the BM some survivors would display once they knew they were on the clear. All those wasted minutes and the games being held hostage. Its definitely great.
My only gripe. It still feels too long.. Most of the time survivors will still wait till the last few seconds to run out the gate. Even if i dont have anyone on a hook for them to save. Even if no one is injured and i have no chance to hook anybody.
They will only ever leave if I go and watch their T Bagging party at the gates. So i dont anymore. And they still sit there waiting for the killer to show face. Till the very last second. Its stupid when i have to wait the timer out instead of being able to get on with my next match.
So I would love it if it didnt tick down as slowly as it does when someone is hooked or in the dying state, or if the time was lowered and it can remain with the slow tick depending on if theres someone hooked or in dying state.

End Game Collapse would be completely fine in it's current state if they balanced map exit spawns around the mechanic.
There are way too many instances of end game happening and the last survivor in the match loses instantly because both gates are in such a short distance they can be patrolled with little to no thought from the killer and the hatch is closed.
As solo survivor, your team can run around like headless chickens and die while you did nothing wrong. Meanwhile you're still punished because you joined a map where the exit gates spawn side by side to each other. As a killer, if the survivor gives up and states at me because they know they are dead no matter what, I just give them the gate. It's not really a multiplayer game at that point.

I like it but I miss goofing around in the old days
If you are playing dodgeball do you surrender just cause the other team lost all their players but one and all the balls happen to be on your side?

In addition to the dodgeball thing I should note that while some maps have close gates, others have gates that are so far apart the killer will never make it in time.

I have very few complaints I like the system as a survivor and as a killer but my only issue is Amanda got nerfed
I would have preferred something like her trap slowing down the timer giving survivors 4 minutes to get it off which honestly is more than enough time as you should be dead if you didn't get it off in half that time.

I like it. The time limit can be triggered by the killer too, so no hostage by survivors is possible anymore.

I prefer it over the 20+ minute hostage situations that happened way too often before.

With 10 poll options, we can really get into nitty gritty about the endgame collapse.

I hate it, post gen shenanigans were fun
I preferred the game before endgame collapse to be honest

I agree with everything here. Having it slow down just means there's still no end game pressure and as long as you have a gate 99'ed or someone downed you can screw around as long as you like. It should either start when the gates are powered flat, or not slow down when someone is downed or hooked.

I didn't like going for 4ks if I wasn't playing Trapper. Because I'd have to slug then people complain.
The only reason I didn't have this issue with Trapper was because if the hatch spawned in certain spots, then I can just make it as difficult as possible to get to the hatch, and the survivor would be forced to do gens.
But I prefer the EGC because it feels like a race to the last one. (I wish they kept Endgame Pig though).

It's good.
Was thinking about one change: if there are 3 gens left on the map (1 gen left to complete), have the gens stay open. If the survivor completes the final generator, both exit gates power up 50% automatically.

Only problem for me is Gate placements. On maps like MacMillan, they can spawn so close to each other you can see both of them without moving. Then there's maps like Lery's, Gideon, and Hawkins, where it's a 50% chance you'll choose the right gate because most killers can't traverse fast enough to patrol both gates effectively.

It's too Killer sided (no one saves/they close hatch)
If you are left alone, you might as well suicide since trying to open a gate is useless most of the times.

It's bad.
I love it that hatch standoffs doesnt exist anymore. But how the devs said that "it will change the endgame completly" is not true at all, it almost didnt change anything. But I preffer this then hatch stand offs.

Endgame collapse is literally the best addition that was made in this game for a very long time.
