Doctor has so much potential
Seriously, after freddy rework, doctor can have similar mechanics too. Don't just limit it to fake pallets, give him other fake things like fake windows, fake doctor chasing them, fake wall, fake generator, fake totem... like the there is so much possibilities that can be done with doctor which can make survivors "mad". So what do you think?

The world's leading Legion advocate main and I were both just discussing this. I'd love it all immensely, he could be something really special. Fake windows though seems a bit much or maybe unviable., Depends on map and if the survivors have decent memory but a fun addition nonetheless!

Well he is getting a rework next, so that's good. We'll just have to wait and see what the devs do to him, but he definitely needs some buffs.
Not sure how fake windows would work though, since people who play this game somewhat regularly will know where exactly windows spawn and where not. It would just hurt newcomers so I wouldn't want that.

I was aware he was getting add-ons looked at, but is he truly next in the list? I also agree that windows could potentially hurt newcomers but let's be honest, that's all The Doctor really does any good against realistically. I think his ability to jumble up the skill checks already is awful for them. Which is why, combined with a potential fake doc coming at you while your trying to pay attention to the mess he creates could be affective, like really affective. Potentially way to powerful.

Everyone can recognize those are illusions, even newcomers.. so there is no point in current one except letting killer know your location

Oh we are in full agreement there, they are useless. I'd like them to come walking up with an appropriate TR at the least. SWF might be strong against it but they kind of are against everything so..

I don't like the idea of fake things since they can be entirely luck based on survivors side. They are already annoying on freddy so no thanks.
Also, aren't they just reworking his addons? I don't think he is getting an entire rework like freddy.

To be entirely fair, in Doctors case, they are still completely luck based. Never know what affliction someone might have or if it's any use or where it will be. It's a true mess.

Dear lord, your insane! Which is just what the doctor needs a little of ;). Imagine the chaos of the entire map being different for all the survivors because hallucinations. It's awful, beautifully so. I'm kinda glad they won't do it though because he would be completely broken 😆

I mean to me it sounded like he was next. And it also sounded to me like they would take a look at more of him than only his addons. I really hope they do.
Of course I don't know for sure, so don't take what I am saying for granted.

Illusionary gens. They randomly pop up in generator spawn points and are interactable, but blow up after say... 20% complete then explode in sparks and the docs laughter.
Only show up at madness 2. they don't harm, only waste time.
or.... hmm... I wonder if it would be worth it to have them explode and disappear if you miss a skill check on them. People missing skill checks on purpose to check a gen would be kind of funny....

To my surprise Doc without range add ons is a threat at loops and windows. You have to get close but that is where you want to be anyway.
I think I will be running him without range add ons until they rework him.

I wish Doctor had fake Gens or fake skill checks on Gens xD I jus wanna mass Troll Survivors...at least as an add-on or something

Thing about the doc's shock range, is I think the 25% range from the brown addin would be too long to make base-kit. I think his default range is too short, but the 25 percent increase just feels too long.
What I want to try is to just increase the range of the shock about 10% but keep the current charge time it has. I'd then reduce the range on his range addin's to keep the current range he gets from them now.
I'd leave most of his current addins alone as I see utility and use from all of them - except for that stupid donut shock addin... that thing needs to be just outright changed.
My son thinks it should be changed to a point blank area of effect - a shock that just hits in a circle around the doc but suffers a base range penalty. I'd rather it get changed to widen the shock with a slight range penalty.

@arslaN Small Game works against fake pallets, so there is some counter to it that makes it less of memorization game.

When you go into a part of the map that you haven't been to in a chase, it basically becomes luck based if you don't have anything to help you like small game. It doesn't need any changes, I just find them annoying.

When i first play doctor, i thought the shock covers the whole radius around thr doctor.. didn't know that you need to aim the shock

I play doctor without add-ons.. and it's quite painful to play if you're facing SWF or good survivors

@OmegaXII Without any add ons I will not do as that does sound painful. Good part is any BP you earn is pure profit since you have invested nothing. Sort of what Nurse mains have been enjoying for years.
I have been using browns (not range one), since I have so many of them and I am pleasantly surprised they are not too bad.
