Can someone explain to me why as a killer you need to DOUBLE PIP for the Adept achievement, yet as Survivor you only need to SURVIVE? Why was this implemented and how is it fair? I'm a survivor main and I can smell the BS and ######### design here. I have 4ked about 10 times now (no, really) as Demo. No adept. Almost every time I was short by a hairline for a double pip. I'm 136/137 for achievements and I'm really beginning to lose the drive for completion again.

    Because of wording.

    Killer adapts are based on Merciless killer. The original meaning of Merciless was kill all four survivors.

    Because of killer ranking changes the underline requirement changed. For survivors it has always been Escape. So their ranking changes didn't change their requirement.

    Update: I have finally gotten the achievement. The requirements are still ludicrous.

    Yes. I never understood why this wasn't changed to just say have no survivors.

    Killers adept were made a long time ago, when it was impossible to get a double pip with survivor (unless you were farming, you never maxed survival, and even so it took like 16 killers escapes) so the degree of challenge was kinda balanced

    Because pips used to only be based on hookings/sacrifices, so getting merciless killer was a 4k. The devs didn't change the achievement requirement when the definition of Merciless killer was changed with the Emblem system.
