Not for much longer unfortunately.To me The strongest aspect/edge Shape has had for the past few years is the fact that he's the only Truly undetectable killer because Spine Chill and Premonition doesn't detect him while in EW1, which allows his slower moving self some early sneak attacks and easy stalking. GF hasn't been able to beat those perks from day 1, and because of this he can never pull off stalking a survivor with either of those perks, but as of the next update, Shape will have the same problem, which will only be worse for him because unlike GF, he'll still move slower at EW1. Granted Myers map wide expose effect lasts for a long time, and gets everyone playing extra cautiously, GF's Stalk (when pulled off) nabs him quicker and more frequent instant downs on singled out targets, and doesn't have a stalk limit. Current Shape has that nasty early game advantage, and because he's not detected by those perks he can pull off some incredibly fun builds like the infamous "Jump scare Myers" (scratched mirror build), but as of next update, those perks will completely counter this and his early game sneak potential. Enjoy Shape while he's still strong guys, the next update is gonna hurt.

As much as I agree it's a pity to nerf his tier one. The jump scare myers build ended up overpowerred because guess what offering is used with it? lery's! I started running spine chill especially cause of ghostface (pig/wraith being bonuses) and am glad that I now have a single counter to wall hacking myers :P.
Perhaps if it really does kill his potential tier 1 could be reverted somehow, but if a myers uses the scratched mirror it could remove the ignore perks portion. A win against a not counterable build and a neutral for regular ones.

Wait, I thought stealth killers were getting buffed so that detection perks had no effect on them, or something along those lines? I've been out of the loop, please forgive my ignorance.

I mean you still can. Survivors aren't willing to use spine chill to counter spirit when complaining so badly about her so I doubt mikey being counterable by it will make many more use it.

Mirror Myers isn't even OP in Lehry's/Game. It's definitely the best places to use him (and probably Hawkins, now) but certainly not OP.

Sure he isn't. Ignoring the obvious unable to see him coming until it's almost too late: he has one of the strongest thing a killer can have, information. Will he go after the injured person self-caring in a corner, or 2 people on a gen together? Most generators have at least 2 paths to come in so against him you have to be swiveling your camera constantly to make sure you don't get grabbed and even then it's a free hit. Then you get to run away for a bit since he'll ignore you now that you're on guard.
His slow-movement speed (still faster than survivors) isn't even a downside since the maps mentioned are some of the smallest ones in the game, so a survivor can't actually make real distance before hitting a corner.

He's also moving at only 105%, and it is possible to hear him coming by his breathing.
