The Spirit's voice kills her creepiness potential

When I play against The Spirit I am always kind of stressed out. Probably due to the mechanics of her being unpredictable and, oh god, the noise of her bones cracking when she chases you and she's closing in.

For this reason I feel like her random and funny "Haaah!" shouts are totally killing her vibe. When she does this she feels like overly dramatic martial arts artists or sword fencer. After checking the lore I couldn't find any trace of why she would be like this.

What made the Devs implement this? Is it an inside joke?

If it were me I would just remove this voice completely. Imagine any other killer doing something like that, it would instantly be less creepy and I could't take that killer seriously.
