Will you run Haunted as your only Hex?
I never did before, but I did it a bunch today and I discovered that in probably my 80% or more of games it still gets cleansed even without Ruin.
i don’t know if people want points, are using Inner Strength or worry it’s Devour Hope but it is getting triggered for insta downs.
Anyone else run only HG as a hex?

I did this before and somehow the survivors always knew and didn't cleanse it. Maybe because I was playing spirit.
It can work if it's not on spirit, because they will know instantly what it is.
Someone once told me that its super obvious and you should never run it alone. I like to run it with ruin or with devour hope, just to give myself a chance of keeping it longer than if I ran the other hexes alone.

Yes, i might. As survivor i can't help but cleanse totems, dull or hex.

my spirit is level 5 so I don't have it

It's big brain. Not as much as running only "Thrill of the Hunt",, but pretty good.

they always fall for it if u run it on hag, especially if u trap them

When I play Trapper I would trap the totem while I knew someone was watching.

I'd still cleanse it, because I cleanse totems and I'd assume it's devour hope. DOH!

With Devour Hope in the list of possibilities it's pretty much a necessity to cleanse every totem even if Ruin is not in play. I always assume every lit totem is either Devour Hope or Haunted Grounds if there's no Ruin. I risk the Haunted Grounds because if Devour Hope gets stacked they get permanent one hit downs anyways. Better to just have it work for one survivor.
