Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Leatherface and a new decisive strike.

I think that any experienced player understands that the leatherface is weak, like a killer and has boring gameplay. Besides one tactic ... basement and using Insidious, it was always fun.

But what to do now? Every second survivor has a decisive strike and this tactic is not the same as before + everything complicates "Head On", but it is not so common. Of course, I could take pink mori, but they are not endless. Why do you need this killer now? You used to get a unique game experience, but now it's worthless.

How to solve this? It is necessary to make sure that the decisive strike does not act on the leatherface.

Leatherface is all about zoning survivors to dead zones. For the amount of pallets there are, this is not always possible. The best a LF can do, is either proxy camp, or tunnel one survivor early game (you have to be very critic on the match, knowing if you can eat or not the ds).

Look, run Thrilling Tremors and Play with Your Food on Leatherface. The speed boost will help you shut down loops faster and keep the pressure one.

Additionally, doesn't Leatherface have Knockout, you know, the go-to perk for slugging? What's stopping you from actually using one of his perks and slugging survivors for 60 seconds after you down them from the hook rescue?

I mean I get u if you switch targets, hook them, and then find the one you've hooked before and then u get d-striked by them, but if your just straight up tunneling then deal with it

Are you serious? Of course Basement-Insidious Tactics involve camping and tunneling. And this was the only working and fun strategy when playing for this killer, now it's in the past, everything is ruined because of this perk.

60 seconds is too much, for an effective game you need to immediately use Insidious at the nearest corner from the basement, otherwise it will take too much time and the survivors will simply run into the gate.

Basement bubba is far from the only way to play bubba, here are some:

    Bubba tips

    1. Use your chainsaw while either very close or right behind survivors.
    2. If you notice people going for a save, try to stop it. You’ll either scare the savior away or get one/both of them.
    3. Try to hug walls if survivors run around them but also stay far enough that you don’t become a rampaging bubba.
    4. Don’t be afraid to use your chainsaw at certain loops if you’re using speed add ons.
    5. His chainsaw speed add ons are his best add ons
    6. You can chainsaw through windows if a survivor is still vaulting

You know how obvious people run DS especially the one who run into a locker. Mow them down and if they run into a locker bump into it to instadown them when they get out. I don't main leatherface but my build revolve around play with your food and blood warden.

Lol lets also make leather immune to borrowed time. While were at it lets make it so deadhard and balanced dont activate in a matcha gainst leather.😂

Yeah leather SUCKS I made a topic about him yesterday. Lets start with giving him some real add ons. Or make it so you don't have to be clueless to ever get hit with his chainsaw.

Leatherface actually already counters Borrowed Time if you're close enough to the hook. You can get two hits in easy chewing through the endurance effect like it's barely there.

The only "boring" (i love how everybody is using this word now instead of "challanging") Leatherface playstyle is Basement camping. Step up your game, chill a little bit and enjoy instead of try.

    Sincerly

    A red rank Leatherface

You must need to be right up in their face then because in circumstances where I catch someone going for a terrible save. Borrowed time always seems to be enough to give them time to not take more than 1 hit from my saw.

@ASurvkillivorer Well, yeah, that seems about right. I guess what I'm saying is that when you see people running to the hook, chase them to the hook and rev during the unhook animation. Most farmers will take the 1000 pts even if they can't get the token for WGLF so it's a decent strat.

Maybe because basement face was a strat the players devised but want actually intended.

Sitting in one place waiting while using a perk as your power allows it isn't exactly playing the hunt, chase and down game and it's a strat the devs have been actively trying to entice people away from.

Increase movement speed when his power is activated is enough buff to make him better.

LF is weak, he's getting some "slight" tweaks in the future. I'm sure he will be SS+ tier afterwards lmao.
