Omega Blink and Insta-Heals
Anybody else been having a miserable DBD experience since the nerfs were announced?
Nearly every killer game I've played recently has had at least 1 or 2 insta-heals in it. And about half my survivor games are against Omega Blink or 3 blink Nurse.
I get it, people wanna use their stuff before it's gone. But it's been so rampant that I almost don't want to play until the next patch (which has just been delayed! Fantastic.).

I killed a team of survivors today that had 3 red instaheal syringes. It's both extremely frustrating and immensely entertaining to watch potatoes try to get to know their crutches before they're kicked out from under them.

That is expected tbh, the same thing happened when bnp and DS had nerfs announced.

Normal DBD for me.
When I play Nurse it's without addons but the servers are prevented me from playing her.

I'm part of that. Im currently using up all my omegablink addons, black wards, puddings, party streamers and moris on Nurse because I'm very convinced that I won't touch her if the basekit nerf won't get reverted. It's good to feel powerful, it's the last chance so why not.
Same with insta heals, I'm currently popping all my addons. Had 100 straight games using them and still around 200 left. I probably won't make it to use them all up till the update, depends on how long the delay will be.

It's kinda cute isn't it? I verse insta heals all the time since the nerf announcement (I'm not complaining tho) and sometimes I get these cute little newbies with around 100 hours and saying "sorry for the insta heal in your face, I just want to have some fun with them till they get nerfed"

This is me too.
I rarely ever bring ANYTHING into a match, items or addons. I've used an instaheal only a handful of times in the last three years.
And now I'm rushing through my supply because just like BNPs, they're about to loss almost all value.

I played normally, but i enjoy the old base nurse as long as it lasts. Use Franklings against the flood of instas tho.

Sadly Im one of those survivors using Syringes every game. i got more syringes than i do Medkits T_T

Yup I'm getting in the last of my Nurse games and days in DbD before they make her unfun and unrewarding to play and I can finally stop playing this game and move on.

Seeing plenty of instaheals, but thats ok... I get a little giggle everytime I time it just right so I hit someone with Franklins RIGHT as they throw down the pallet, so their instaheal is trapped underneath the pallet.

How are they making her unrewarding? Seriously the two blink version of Nurse is almost the same, the extra 3 seconds to wait for the second recharge isn’t going to make her unviable.
If you only have fun when you playing 4-5 blinks or Omega nurse then yeah I guess get it out of your system. But that wasn’t exactly rewarding skillful play in the fiery place.

- You never played Nurse against the top survivors

Playing on ps4 i dont see nurses in general. And i dont think that'll ever change. As for the instaheal chamges im super excited for them. Ever since BT got changed i wished for at least an item to get me that state of safety back while unhooking

You have to experience this by yourself in the PTB on red ranks against some sweaty swf groups. Or go to the feedback section, there are multiple posts of Nurse mains with multiple thousands of hours going into detail.

Many people seem to ignore that blink and Power bar are not the only things that have been changed. No it is not like old nurse, the constant beeps are unfun and cause a headache. An additional cd with the same purpose as fatigue, feels out of place. Also her cd is bugged on ptb.

Funny thing is I haven't given my opinion at all. I'm only pointing out that the argument used against one is the same argument used on the other. The person I originally responded to insisted that nurse would become unfun and they would quit over it. I'm sure plenty of survivor partisans said the same about this nerf or that nerf, but that doesn't change the fact that the game is probably more balanced for it.
It's been widely known for a long time that nurse is on top as far as the power scale for killers go. Whether that tips into the realm of OP comes down to opinion. But if top tier survivor perks get nerfed it stands to reason that the same could happen to top tier killer abilities as well. Plenty of survivor mains probably insisted only 'noobs' couldn't deal with DS or MoM. However, name calling really isn't much of an argument, and it did nothing to stay BHVR's hand.
As for what my opinion on the nurse nerf actually is? I don't know, honestly. I suspect once the dust settles, nurse will still be seen as very strong, but a month or two out I might find my assumption to be wrong. What I do know is that the gap in the individual power scales for both killers and survivors needs to be closed a bit for this game to have any real chance at being balanced.

Nurse will still at the top, maybe second? I have seen good players, even streamers with plenty of hours playing her at rank 1 and still getting 4k so to say she is weak I'd have to hear your reasoning other than just "feeling it."
Anyone who thinks 5 blink or Omega range isn't overpowered is leaning on those as a crutch, good Nurse players are gonna be just fine.

It doesn't matter that someone is getting 4ks. I can get my 4ks as perkless addonless wraith aswell. Does it mean wraith is viable against the sweaty swf groups? Everyone can stomp potatoes, stop using this as measurement.
