Love the xbox community
Encountered this person when I was doing a Billy daily. (Only play Billy for dailies)
Told them GG to which they responded to me about how they were going to add me on a killer montage because I was that bad.
Told them that being disrespectful like that when people have literally done nothing to provoke only just breeds toxicity in the community.

I've had similar experiences with players on Xbox myself where they feel the need to gloat over a win they had because they basically gen rushed me, then got super toxic saying I deserved to lose the match because 'That's what you get for playing a Ghostface'. Then proceeding to tell me to uninstall the game because I'm awful and noobs should just quit the game. Of course, the language was much more colourful, but these kinds of people, not only on Xbox, are the ones who slowly kill the games fan base. I can accept games where I do bad, but to have them go the step further and be hostile about it all is the lowest point anyone can go. It's just sad really

Yep, that's the gaming community....... In a few months they'll cry because the game died. Go figure

Hm... I mean, I haven't seen many players like that, myself, but I just move on and find the next game... see how I can do better, and such...

I do the same, but imagine how a new player must feel to join their first game as either role, do bad and then receive a message berating them and being hostile. It leaves the worst impression of the game on them, and chances are they won't come back. I've seen it on the Xbox Clubs where a new player simply posted asking for help since he was new, and was then attacked by several others telling him he's useless and needs to leave the game and don't come back because baby killers/survivors won't be tolerated and they'll make sure any game they have is hell. The player base on this game is already low enough, but to have people pushing more away isn't right. People all seem to forget that they were once brand new to the game and did the exact same things. We all have to start somewhere. Nobody is the best from the start

Well, I've never joined a group, so I'm not sure if that's what happens...
I completely agree though that it isn't right. All I was saying is that I've never seen that happen to me... except once I did receive hate mail once.

It's hard to say, having not seen the messages before that, but to me he doesn't sound salty. He sounds like someone who was actually telling the truth about his intentions, and got angry at essentially being called a liar and a sore loser. Not saying everything he said there was justified, but imo neither was your response.
In any case, I legitimately thought this was going to be a wholesome appreciation post when I clicked on it. Feelsbad.

HAHA! The amount of times I've been told I'm 'going on Youtube' is hilarious.
...and that's just this week....

I had a similar experience with a Nea. She called me was even though I snowballed her entire team and got 2 kills. I probably told this story before but she went on about how hag is trash. I got fed up and reported her cause she called me some names.

Xbox isn't so bad. It's definitely friendly most times. There are those few poop nuggets who think getting a reaction is entertaining and there's the really cocky players who like trash talking.
All in all the silent majority on Xbox are really nice people.

You can't argue with stupid. I really enjoy the feature that people not on your friends list go into another inbox.
Now if they will only mute party invites the same way - because once you stop interacting via text they try to get their salt in by voice. The spam invites get annoying.
