Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

A Thank You

The game’s community may be upset right now due to the delay of the update and event, however, I’d like to take a moment to think about the game and what it’s done for us. For me, the game has given me good times of bliss, bad times which have made me lose my will, but this game has also taught me a lot, actually.

This game has taught me not to always be so kind and selfless since it doesn’t let you take care of yourself. It’s taught me that caring for others is extremely fun and rewarding, and that a kindness shown to the disenfranchised is extremely appreciated.

And I’ve been through quite a few ruckus’s with this game. Beginning with the delay of Clown on PS4, all the way to helping the Official Discord during Ghostface’s delay and now the delay of this momentous update.

This game, however, has made me greatly appreciate it so much, due to the Devs. The Devs are always as nervous or as comfortable as they can be, and unlike other game devs they don’t put themselves up on a pedestal, and whilst people may be complaining about a lack of explanation for technical issues at the moment they are genuinely so honest, unless an NDA requires them not to be!

The Community of the game is wonderful too. Whilst we may all focus on the toxicity, I’ve had some really heartfelt moments due to this community. Not to mention how BHVR themselves implement themselves into the community, Peanits chatting as regularly as any forum goer or Discord user, Not_Queen streaming and having a fanbase of her own that she cares about!

Although I don’t want to ramble, all I can say is: thank you BHVR, so much, for all that you’ve done and will continue to do.
