I love punishing campers
Ah, nothing brings a sweeter smile to my face than making a fool of stupid camping killers.
Just finished a match with a Face Camping doc. On first hook he face camped the first survivor. He died. Fine. I figure he was just trying to get rid of the first survivor so he can 3v1 us. Ok.
The next survivor he downed. Then he went away and didn't face camp, so I went for the save. But he was just hiding a short distance away firing electric bolts and came right back as soon as he triggered my level 1 scream. I unhook but end up trading positions on the hook.
He face camps me next, then someone else brute forces the save and I get out, but now she's on hook.
So pissed at this doc, but luckily I was using my Left Behind build. So I go fish a Skeleton Key out of the basement, then hide in a locker. I abandon my two companions and let them die -- something I normally don't do. But I hate doctors and I hate camping doctors even more.
So as soon as they die I get out and see him walking off to towards the exit gates. EGC triggers, so now I have an idea where the hatch is. I run over, see him camping the exit gates, which spawned right next to each other I might add.
I see the red hatch aura, closed, behind a rock and run right for it, even with the electricity building at my feet, and I jump in and say, "GG Mr. Camper."
Feel bad for my team but feels good to get more BP than he did and shove it in his face.

How does getting a hatch escape punish him? He got a free 3k lol
I thought this was going to be a story about how you used skill to get the person off the hook and escape not a story of a doc winning handedly.

That isn't really punishing.. thats just you escaping.
What you described is letting a facecamper camp out his two kills, he probably felt like he won.

...this right here clearly displays the line between people who actively seek a balanced, fun experience for all and the others hoping for a quick pat on the head and possible circle jerk.
To be honest, all I gathered from whatever this post is supposed to be, is that you're a terrible teammate and just happy to have escaped for a change?
