She is meh when Survivors don't cleanse, but you have always insta down. But when the Survivors do cleanse you are now Huntress with easier aim but shorter range.

I think playing as her would be funny

She is pretty great if played right. Her point gains in deviousness are kind of lacking though unless you use the fountains. I find her fun to play as a killer but not for point farming. Her downsides are that she gives survivors an quick heal if they're sick. Oh and her puking is kinda gross to some people.

She is not that great if people choose not to cleanse.

She can be stronger then Huntress if you get the Corrupt Purge, her problem is that her power is solely dependent on survivors, so if survivors don't cleanse, your just an M1 killer with 1 hit chases. She still gets looped too death and requires certain perks too make her effective such as Thanatophobia.

She is a lot better then Huntress if people cleanse. You're not handicapped by an ammo limit, and it's immensely harder too avoid it unlike Huntress.

Because you depend on survivors cleansing she is good at lower ranks kind of like most killers before slowly people just stop cleansing in higher ranks.
Id say maybe rank 20 to rank 10 she could be fun other than that might be hard to pull off

I just wish her deviousness wasn't so dogshit. I don't always mind that she isn't considered strong, because I even got low tiered killers up to red ranks fine. But never getting more than 4k of deviousness is a super bummer, when I can play other killers that can max that and do better with.

She can be really good with certain builds, but it's very hard to get pips or deviousness points with her.

There is a lot of busywork when playing her. Having to be sick on things and collect the purge from the fountains.
On the other hand I find the vile / corrupt purge power quite fun.
I don't feel like she is particularly strong when I play her. I never quite feel in control of proceedings.

You know, your game depends entirely on the survivors. This is the killer that does not depend on you. If survivors will be treated in fountains, you should have one strategy, if they will not be treated, the strategy will be different.
This is a good strategy against playing the Plague - do not wash your face in the fountains, so as not to give her power. But at the same time you are sick and for 1 hit.

She can really count on Thantophobia putting in work during a match.
Survivors are either one shot or give you super spit. She negates healing speed up perks.
Plus her vocals are pretty cool.

As always people are just going on about how Plague is terrible if Survivors don't cleanse.
Yesterday I played a game against a Thano/Dying Light/PGTW Rank 4 Plague and guess what? We all cleansed the crap out of that game. You want to slow down our gen speed to a snail's pace? Not happening. We finished the gens before anyone died. She was able to hook us 6 times total and got some 3 or 4 stacks of Dying Light but we used the extra hit during chase to prolong them and not having to worry about Thanatophobia that much let us power through the gens.
Two people died in the end to NoEd because I skipped on three totems (I found them but opted to rush the gens because they were taking forever with the slowdowns). (EDIT _- no wait I'm getting my games mixed up. The three NoEd totems was during a Ghostface game. Plague didn't have NoEd I think she had Ruin and we all escaped on that Plague game I think).
Plague is not necessarily stronger if survivors cleanse. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Depends on how the game goes and how good the players are.
Plague is a good killer. She is an annoying killer to go up against. You need to be really smart to go against her, but also need to be smart playing her. The Plague yesterday probably wasn't expecting us to cleanse left and right. We were cleansing so much we ran out of fountains to cleanse. Everywhere I look it's just red glowing puke. She probably didn't expect that and couldn't adjust her game accordingly. It also helped that it was Torment Creek, that map gives lots of dodging LOS blocker trees to help against Plague.

She is pretty decent. If survivors choose not to cleanse thanataphobia and dying light combo is brutal and you pretty much have a permanent noed. If they choose to cleanse each chase lasts 20 seconds because her power is pretty OP.

Just finished another match with Plague. This time it was a Rank 10 and not a Red Rank Plague, matchmaking is wonky like that. We cleansed like crazy again on Grim Pantry. All four got away. Not gonna allow Thanatophobia and Dying Light to put us down.
I was the Obsession and I fished and Engi toolkit and I powered my way through the gens as Dying Light wasn't affecting me.
Cleansing is a valid strategy people. Especially with the current meta where Plague is stacking Dying Light and Thanatophobia, I'd say it's the correct play instead of going broken the entire match.
I was probably in an SWF though judging by the user names of the 3 I was with. This Plague looks like she was still a little new so that plus going against an SWF probably counted a lot for how she was outplayed.

She's ok. Depends on what rank you're using her at. Solidly mid tier. Really bad in a chase if survivors are good at looping and don't cleanse. Ok in a chase if she has Corrupt Purge and you get decent RNG on tile spawns.

She's high average in my opinion.

She's great when played right. If survivors cleanse and you get corrupt purge, you become omega huntress. If they don't cleanse, you always have a 1 hit down, and the survivors are much easier to find since they're so loud.
Also, I recommend using Monitor & Abuse on her, because if they don't cleanse you can sneak up on them and down them much faster.

My main issue with her isn't that she's not powerful enough. The issue is how hard it is to rank up with her. I get like 4 kills and barely make it to brutal... maybe infecting things should be buffed for points? Or idk someone who plays the game more will know how to fix her. Just can't play her unless I want to displeased the entity despite winning....

I use her if I see its a squad of veteran swfs
shes good

She is underrated. Quite a solid Killer, permanent Insta-Down at least or a really, really strong Range Attack. However, she is boring to play - usually Survivors dont cleanse, so you cannot use your power to 100%.
The concept is really cool and creative, but the gameplay itself is boring.

She has the potential to be quite powerful, however, at high ranks, she can't use half her kit because nobody f***ing cleanses. The emblem system isn't kind either, since she essentially one hit downs, she can't get a lot of points for chaser or malicious... either way, she's a roulette wheel. If people cleanse, great! If not... then she's still decent, but people can still escape since it doesn't hamper them in other ways... and cleansing heals completely, even if the strike was from your weapon (which doesn't make sense to me... but whatever).
She can also be stunned from vile purge, which doesn't make sense since so few people give you the chance to use that anyway.

She's a lot better then people think she is.
If you wanna learn more about her watch Fungoose on twitch, He has something like 100+ wins straight with plague.

To be fair, that's thana 2 and dying light 1. With the slow values on them it's barely even noticible.

I've been having huge success on Plague recently. I made it to red ranks last season using nothing but her despite her absolute garbage emblem gains, and was 4king most matches there without add ons.

Dying Light and Thana has been a huge step forward for her because it means there's a much more legitimate threat to not cleansing than she's had before. There was always Thana but as it stacks with Dying Light it gets really stressful for survivors and many have started to cleanse as it gets later. My main dislike for Plague when she came out was that not cleansing was just too solid as a strat so she was very boring as you basically only got to play an M1 killer all match.
She's a really fun killer to play for me, puking on everything is pretty fun, she creates a really unique dilemma of cleanse or not for the game which keeps each match a little bit unique. Her power is strong in both aspects as one hit downs all match is very strong, and her ranged corrupt attack is destructive if you can find survivors when they immerse as soon as they hear the ding.
She has very potent generator defense, and if you can wrangle a 3 gen I'd argue she's one of the best killers at it. I stack the 2 slowing perks with PGtW so each hook sets a gen back, and with an extra DL stack takes even longer to complete that same section. Survivors get antsy and cleanse, but puking on the gens means they really gain nothing from that.
I also find there's almost no need to slug for the 4k as long as you track down the hatch. By that point the last survivor is either broken, and can usually be heard hiding near a gate, or leaving green puke on windows nearby, or they've cleansed and you can infect the gate switches to know when they touch one.

"normal". Not good, not bad. Dedicated server latency on vomit hurts her the most (visually they fixed it, but most of the time vomit does not hit/register)

I feel like the thana/dying light combo killed one of her more powerful add ons. The ultra rare that lets you see a survivors aura for 5 seconds when they puke. That was a huge punishment for staying diseased and probably the best tracking item in the game.
