Do you want to skip a chapter?
Would you be willing the devs to skip a chapter just to focus on the core game? Having new killers and survivors is cool, but wouldn't freshening the game up be better? I understand they have certain devs constantly working on the normal game, but wouldn't having all hands focus on the core game make for a better experience than new faces? I'd like your opinions.

Have the devs focus on the game as a whole and NOT add a new chapter.
This game would really benefit from something like Operation Health on Rainbow Six Siege - not comparing anything it’s just the first example that comes to mind. A whole season dedicated to balancing, fixing issues, reworking etc.
There’s plenty of content now. After the Archives, it would be a good time to take a break and look at the bigger picture.

With people eating the lore up, it would be a good time to take a moment and iron things out. But, it is ultimately up to the Devs.

They will never miss one chapter. But I would very much like them to work very hard on the health of the game.

I would prefer a fully functioning game. Not that dedicated mess we got right here. Grabbing people off gens and seeing em run away feels weird.

Honestly, that has always been the case for alot of people with or without dedicated servers, but I've seen some stupid hits/grabs with the servers. They will be fixed in time though. I'm fairly certain that's a huge priority for them right now as a promise from almost a year ago.

definitely focus on the core game first before adding new content. that should be the main priority of a development company! make sure the product works before adding extra for the marketing. :'0

Id rather them focus on making useless perks actually useful.
This would in turn mix up the meta and allow an even more bigger variety in perk choices and metas.
Everything else should be looked at as well Low tier killers, Spirit+Billy, Maps, and stealth in the maps as well.

If it's a case of either/or, game improvements would definitely be better. Chapters are nice - functional gameplay is nicer.

The game is in such a badly bugged state now. It's time to focus on game health.
I think I had to restart the game like 10 times yesterday. Unbelievable.

I do agree that the game needs it's own "Operation Health" but it's a double-edged sword, imagine they take 3 months without new content to fix the game and they fail miserably and now we are left without new content along with buggy mess.

Yes not only for the games health but I feel that we have so much content that the devs can afford to slow down. There are a ton of killers and survivors so I feel as though this is why a short break would be good as well.

This game needs an "Operation Health".

I'm indifferent.

Would be cool if devs reworks some perks, MoM needs a seriously fix for example..

As others have remarked, an "Operation Health" DBD equivalent would be a nice thing. My triage list:
- Evaluate the myriad pain points in the Bloodweb system, and rework the way perks are unlocked to make it more player-friendly and not take forever on a per-character basis. I have written about this extensively elsewhere (right here, in fact), and I am not going to repeat the whole thing here.
- Go over every menu and UX element with a fine-toothed comb, and apply some serious changes to everything, in an effort to make the game and its presentation less opaque overall. I could (and probably should) write a lengthy thread on this topic, because it seems to me that no one at Behaviour is leading any kind of UX effort in the game, and this is an area I have a lot of expertise on in my career as a video game consultant.
- Rework the entire emblem system, to make it easier for the average player to instinctively understand.
- Add some sort of reward incentive for seasonal ranks. I think Bloodpoints (or maybe a choice between Bloodpoints and Iridescent Shards, or some mixture of the two) would be enough. Do the same for Devotion ranks.
- Numerical buffs to underplayed killers, to bring their power level up and reduce the gulf between the top 4-5 killers and everyone else. I'm not talking "full rework" (as this is beyond the scope of something like this for Behaviour), but just tweak numbers for what they already have. Same goes for any really pernicious add-ons.
- Do a comprehensive pass on all perks, especially the really weak or degenerate ones like Insidious, Monstrous Shrine, Unrelenting, Slippery Meat, Sole Survivor, This Is Not Happening, etc. Make them better! Left Behind was a good example of how to do this the right way.
- Light map reworks, on maps that are really defective (I'm talking the MOST egregious stuff, like removing the Balanced Landing infinites in Haddonfield).
- Consider implementing a more aggressive stance toward disconnects (here is my suggestion).

Have the devs continue as normal and add chapters as normal.
I cant live with a new chapter💸

I hate to be that guy, buuuut That means you can live without another chapter. I'm sorry. I have an eye for grammar. I get what you are saying, though.

The game is desperately in need of a revamping.
Horrid map design, broken perks, useless perks, severely underpowered Killers, totems being a trash fire of a mechanic, map RNG, absurdly fast generators, ect., ect., ect.
Not to mention the whole SWF issue making the game impossible to balance. Balance the game around Solos? SWFs curbstomp the Killer. Balance the game around SWF? Solos get curbstomped by the Killer. SWF needs to be seperated to another mode entirely or the game will never be balanced. Either make an unranked queue or massively improve the KYF mode with a server browser and modding.

We are speaking here about 2 different internal departments, so this question is irrelevant.
While i think the core game has top priority, new content is also very important. Shuting down one for the other is no option.

Just dont forget what making thins takes time and resources.Am pretty sure what devs trying their best with what they have, but things people what to see in this game may not be possible to do because-maybe they dont have resources to do so,maybe they dont have people who can make those things, maybe game engine/code wont let it happend.

There is a point where they should just make a chapter for bug fixes and the like instead of making a new chapter. Despite what many think the team for DBD is small and can't do everything.

Fixing "nerved to death" killers/survivors so they are usefull again.
The Legion for example.
Stopping this "we will add mass of new designs for killers" and instead fixing broken balancing.
Add killers, which everyone can buy with in game money.
It feels bad if you can't play half of the killers even if you bought the game and can't even buy them with in game money.
I know, they have to constantly earn money. But i think it would be better if they sell just cosmetics. Killers and Survivors are just things everyone should be able to use. Eventually with in game money but at least able.
That would be what i want.
Your thoughts about that?

Yes, fix the god damn code,we can wait for chapters and they need to stop shooting themselves in the foot by setting up deadlines for themselves, they're going to exhaust themselves if they keep doing that with such a spaghetti code.

But remember, Oporation Health pretty much robbed us of a new season because it really didnt fix anything, but for DBD I think it would work.
