Do you think ace in the hole should have a chance of giving ultra rare add ons?
It would be a very welcome change and could even put ace in the hole in the meta what do you guys think?

when this syringe nerf drops, every survivor ultra rare will be worse picks than the other addons, so I don't see why not

Since BNPs aren't instant pops, Odd Bulb is arguably more useless than helpful, and Syringes are about to be nerfed. Having Ace in the Hole give Survivors red items from time to time would be a nice buff.

@joshuashep22 this perk was changed with the patch 2.1.0 since then you're not able to find ultra rare addons. It was in the game before and the perk is better now trust me. If you want instaheals just go in with pharmacy and ace in the hole. You'll get a styptic very often :)

More and more ultra rares are becoming questionable picks over a good green or yellow add-on anyway. I know I avoid odd bulbs and BNPs in the blood web...if they dropped from a perk in game it might make things slightly more interesting, otherwise they would not even be worth a look.

To be meta? It should guarantee 100% an ultra rare addon.

It should. It's not like the URs we get are all that good. All of them have been nerfed. Antihemorraghic is any good any more and is just similar to Hemostatic now, so no biggie. The Odd Bulb is useless, well flashlights in general are useless. The only good one to fish out is BNP, which gives a nice 25% boost, but I don't see this as a big issue because it would be extremely rare to fish it out anyway.

Really sweet to when you get a key and the milky or ring add on, so you get to keep the key after if you escape or die. I have stockpiled something like 60 keys in this manner.

I agree, but that’s not even remotely considered meta. A green medkit with addons is very good sure, but is it worth two perk slots? Because following this reasoning Pharmacy is a good perk, and it’s not...

Nobody's claiming Plunderer is meta, because it really isn't that powerful. It's just a lot of fun.
The only thing that is powerful with Plunderer is the opportunity to fish a key out, which can really improve your chances of escaping. And that's not a guaranteed event -- both fishing the key and escaping even if a key comes out.
In many ways I'm glad it's not meta, can you imagine if some streamer popularized key fishing and acted like a douche trying to escape (made even easier thanks to Left Behind)? The game would collapse and they'd have to nerf the chest keyrate which got a nice buff last year. I don't want that to happen because this is one of my go-to builds and one of the few genuinely fun things to do in DBD for me.
So I'm very, very happy that Plunderer's is in no way, shape or form meta.

Sometimes you don't need meta perks to have fun. If i dont wanna rank up too fast im usuing a combo with non meta perks. Botany, pharmacy,ace in the hole,iron will is a pretty decent perk build. What makes a perk slot worthy depends on how you wanna play that game.
