HOT Tip about BBQ
Ive been on vacation, and thus unable to mention something that I feel like many people either ignore, or simply dont know.
BBQ is tasty.
As a survivor, one of your top priorities is to determine if the killer has BBQ or not.
Once you have determined that the killer has BBQ, it should then be your top priority to hurry to be in terror range whenever the killer hooks a survivor.
This will help in two ways. One, he wont know where you are to come bangbang, and two, it will make the killer think you are coming to save since he cant see your aura, which often results in a harder patrol, leaving you safe to go back to your gen or save if youre a beast.
If you cannot make it there, which happens sometimes, you need to be aware of the aura you are creating for 4 seconds. Either hide behind a gen, or go one way for 4 seconds then double back.
Too often even at rank1 I see survivors just sit there on a gen when a hook happens, and act all surprised when a billy comes charging over 5 seconds later.

Nice tip! but kind of incomplete.. You can also hide behind a generator since your aura is clouded by that of the generator.

I edited to add that, tho often you can see peoples red pixels popping out from behind a gen, but maybe thats due to my huge monitor.
