Beating the DC dead horse
Two games in a row people DC and I end up just shy of a pip. I don't think I can play this game anymore until there is a stiff penalty for survivors doing this. I invest 15 minutes into around for nothing.

The higher you go in rank the worse it become

Yeah, I've been stuck at rank 8 now for a bit because of it. It's a classless move imo.

Not sure it's entirely people being jerks. I've been seeing alot of DC's happen at times when it wouldn't make sense for that person to DC.

DCing is not a survivor exclusive thing. Stop refreshing the sterotype.
DCs will never truely go away unless the issues that causep eopel to DC in the first place are fixed.
2 -
I'm sure there are people with bad connections that cause DC, I'll give you that. But in my experience it's 90% a survivor thing so I will refresh the stereotype.

Pointing fingers at survivors for DCs is not making a good argument.
Killers and Survivors do it alike. Its frustrating for survivors too when they are doing extremely well against a killer for the killer to DC later and come short off a pip.

Then you'd be wrong. Where are you getting the 90% survivor stastic from? personal experience (Which is irrelevant) or an official source?

Did I say killers didn't do it? No, I did not. But it is much more common for survivors to do it than killers. And as I mentioned in a different thread, there are solutions (other than survivors growing up and playing a whole game).

The issue that causes most people to dc is that they don't like losing. There is no fix to this.

Okay, take my experience and multiply it by the countless threads addressing the same issue on this forum and you will see I'm right.

Tell that to all the killers that dc because of a map they don't like. As survivors will by default out number killers 4 to 1 the survivor number will be higher. But let's not pretend that killers don't DC their fair share.

Yes, but what is worse, a survivor DC at the start of a 15 minute match or a killer DC at the start and the match ends instantly. Seems clear one is worse than the other.

I could argue that either could be worse. The survivor DC leaves you with an up hill battle. But is doable. The killer DC means you just wasted all that time quing for a match only to start it all over again.

My survivor wait times are about 1 min on average but I'll admit that is probably an exception. And I'd honestly rather wait for a lobby than play 3 on 1 from the start as a survivor or as a killer.

That's why I can argue either way. You have short que times. So you prefer a full game. Others have much longer que times. Or even enjoy the challenge of 3v1. Obviously both are less then ideal. But I think it's hard to say either is clearly worse.

Well, back to the original concern, I can’t wait for the “husk” system to go into effect. I don’t care if the husk has a mind behind it or not, as long as can extract my bloodpoints from it.
Also, from my experience and what I’ve seen in other threads, a true “loss of connection” disconnect doesn’t make the global disconnect sound *bwonggggg”. If you hear the sound, then they disconnected using the menu option.

You messed up the title! It should be "beating the disconnected horse"
Anyway yes, DC's on either side tend to be annoying. This is why i cant wait for the husk thing.

Disconnecting is luck for the community. If they roll out penalities. Yeah, most people are going to vote with their feet and LEAVE. The game is broken. Both survivors and killers disconnect all of the time. Until ECG rolled out. It wasn't nearly this bad. Now that ECG is out. Players feel that there is no reason to even try now.
