Have you ever encountered a survivor as killer who successfully manage to use the new mettle of man?

The title says it all if so then how did it make you feel? Did you tunnel them or see it as a minor setback?

Yes, it was a Bill, because of course it was, who also had Pharmacy and Ace in the Hole.

That lunatic must have managed to get an instaheal from a chest (nobody brought items) and took two hits while I was carrying someone, then looped me near the hook before taking a hit unhooking the Survivor I just hooked.

Honestly, I didn't mind at all when I found out he had Mettle of Man later.

People never got their OLD mettle of man against me as I rarely ever use the basic attack. New mettle of man is more of a myth than a perk to me.

I had a game where an Ash kept body blocking my hook attempts. This worked out only twice in their favor: 1 time because the hook was far enough away that the guy struggled free after I struck the Ash, and another because I had to strike Ash twice at the hook proc'ing MoM. He effectively denied me 2 hooks that game, the 2nd being the most important because it happened during the endgame collapse, and there was nothing I could've done about it. Needless to say, I found myself wishing I had equipped Mad Grit to counter this tactic. Sure new MoM's not as easy to pull off as it used to be, but damn if it's the most annoying thing to go up against when someone uses it properly to deny the killer hooks.

I have yet to find a survivor who used mettle of man against me, after the perk was changed.

Me as Killer not. But I think in one of Tru3's videos I saw one Survivor getting hit, not going down but instead getting this white outline. Tru3 thought it was Borrowed, but there was no Deep Wound timer. So it was definitely Mettle of Man.

And no, it wasn't pre nerf MoM.

Yes the other day, i was actually surprised by it. But he played well to protect his team so props to him.

Happened to me last night, called the Nancy an actual God in post game chat and laughed my ass off. Because of her dedication to the perk, during EGC she was able to open the door and escape because of the damn thing. It was the first time I’ve seen MoM used since the nerf and it was awesome.
