Freddy's dream world doesn't lower your rate of acquiring a skill check without add ons right? Some people say that it takes longer to get a skill check due to the slowdown in action speed. I don't think they're right lol.

    I definitely feel it when asleep.

    I wish I could record gameplay of normal repair progression / skill check rate to that of Ruin and being asleep, and mark on the repair bar when a skill check popped up.

    there are definitely times where skill checks on gens don't seem to happen without the add ons, I know I've personally done an entire gen with no skill check in the dream world, but you get one almost immediately with self care so that seems to balance it
