Why does Legion lose the ability to see scratch marks and blood in FF?
^ title.
Do you have any idea why?

Probably because when they reworked him they didn't realize that it's completely unnecessary, due to how you never re-enter your frenzy after you get the first hit - sometimes that's most likely guaranteed, and that you can see a heartbeat after the first hit, so not seeing scratchmarks is also irrelevant. Whereas before you could and would and his power would actually down survivors, even though it didn't have a massive impact then. The only time it has any impact is if you use it too early and just happen to lose track of a survivor, which is rare.
Basically, it's just a design decision that's completely pointless most of the time.

I think it was to make 100% sure that legion couldn't do a "following the blood" strategy. You can even see this strategy used by some of the old streamers.
They would hit a survivor, and then look at the ground and follow the blood (without initiating chase) until the survivor was forced to stop to mend or risk going down.
However, now, the terror radius stops the mending bar so this was stopped by that. I suppose now you might argue that it is to encourage killers not to just chase down one survivor and instead try to hit others (as they intended it to be used for). All in all, that's how the cards landed. To be fair, it does make it a little trickier to chase after a single person. Especially if you hit them, run a ways, and change your mind.

Probbably leftover code to make sure that the legion stays weak even after getting nerfed to rockbottom.

Why can't legion break palletd with his frenzy as basekit?

I don't think they'll add that lol

Me too. Just a suggestion. xD

It was part or the nerf they executed when legion was being used in a way that the community was outraged by because it was deemed not fun, BHVR agreed. At some point legion will get a proper rework I'm sure.
If frenzy was unlimited, which it should be based on the current base kit, then legion would be reasonable. As it stands he/she is in a pretty mediocre place
UNLIMITED FRENZY, you say! You're crazy, you say!
Actually its not, it would work perfectly fine.
2 strikes on the same survivor and you're knocked out. Hit by a pallet, knocked out. Missed strike knocked out. The current design would make unlimited frenzy perfect for playing the way legion was intended. Which was, go around and stab everyone once, then chase the last stabbed person and down them.
Though I would say, that I'd add one more, knock out of frenzy scenario. That is if everyone is in deep wounds, then you get knocked out of frenzy and the frenzy time limit is enforced in subsequent frenzy's. This would prevent frenzy from being abused.

That is like saying pig's dash should do that

Hey good idea m8, i'm gonna open a new thread for that one.

I don't mind it
I used to do it but now I stopped

and why shouldn't it? The demos does. It would allow the pig to use the dash in a chase more effectively, which is already a good strategy to try and mind juke at pallets, it would just make it more inline withe other killers powers of a similar nature (billy, bubba, demo).
The demos pallet break actually takes longer then kicking a pallet, but allows you to gap close so, forcing survivors to drop pallets or take a hit. Which is how , I'm sure they'd do that for the pig.
But legions version of that, the one you get with the UR, isn't anything like the pigs or the demo's power. So, I agree it shouldn't be his basekit, but your comparison and reasoning behind why are way off base.

In the lore it's due to Frenzy being an ability that would sever their connection to the entity... however... in game balance it was because of the added mobility, tracking of other players, and easy hits frenzy gives you.

It's also impossible to down people while in frenzy, so it's not like that would change much in the long run.

Demo is also a huge monster from a different dimension while pig is a little lady with an assassins creed knife
0 -
lol so? the reason something happens has nothing to do with the character models and everything to do with how the killer is balanced.
Pig could use a little chase love since her indirect nerf caused by the end game collapse.

if it wouldn't change much, why implement it?
0 -
So?
Pig is a little lady!
How does slightly tickling a pallet break it?
Demogorgon literally throws himself right at the pallet with full force
I agree Pig needs some buffs but this is not the way
0 -
you make no sense
0 -
How?
Demogorgon uses pure thigh strength to break a pallet with a power literally called "Shred"
Pig's power is "Dash Attack" and she just sprints really fast when using it
Demogorgon, if I am correct, is extremely powerful as well, compared to a lady with a small blade under her sleeves

I'm actually in favor of the change because Legion is supposed to chain from one to another. There are times I hit someone with frenzy, know I won't be able to reach another, and then be accused of tunneling because I couldn't take advantage of my ability.
Legion is actually a hard killer to master, even with the limits on them. When to frenzy, when not to frenzy, knowing who to prioritize... it's all complex. It would make Legion just a little bit better and easier to get into if the frenzy was unlimited until everyone has been given DW. Then that'll make them go after the wounded Survivor before them. It'll encourage Legion players of actually applying pressure to multiple survivors, not just one because they're near.
Idk, they just need some kind of buff. This would be an example of a good buff.

I would love for Endgame Pig to come back. That playstyle is how I used to play pig, and it was very fun. Two traps for midgame, two for endgame. That way they couldn't just crawl through the gate and forces them to waste time and not leave. : P

right, but you just said it wouldn't make a much of a difference, but based on this, it sounds like you think it would.
IMO there was no reason to remove the effect even with the end game collapse. I also think trap triggers should not be tied to the generators, RBT should start ticking as soon as you are back on your feet.

I said that yes, because if the survivors are across the map, it's the same effect as Green Sketchbook/Legion Mural sketch. I see no difference. However, it frees those addons for another effect.

Yeah but after a while most Legion just stop using their power because it's so detrimental.
You would be surprised how many survivors especially red ranks literally start mending the second you turn around.
Currently frenzy has literally no lethal power even when using the two add-ons that are meant to give it lethal power it's still so woefully unreliable that literally just running the matches and M1 killer and not using frenzy once is far more efficient.
With the current kit the way it is there is absolutely no reason to to remove Legion's tracking capabilities with scratch marks and the blood stains.

Franks mixtape dude

That isn't a thing anymore. It's literally impossible to down anyone since multiple frenzy attacks don't drain the DW bar anymore.
0 -
Frank's mixtape does drain the DW bar, you're just better off being M1 killer than trying to down anyone with this (unless you have a specific build)
0 -
you can down people with it you just have to use tinkerer and dark devotion
0 -
It's still not worth it.
0 -
There is no point then, since both are reliant on survivors.
0 -
I mean yes you can down people with it.
However even with a builds perfectly suited for it is still so well fully impractical that nine times out of ten you're most likely going to get gen rushed with only two downs if even that.
Hell Monto even tried using a frenzy only build on his first attempt if he didn't have an ebony mori he would have lost and on his second attempt he had to break his rule because people mending in his face.
2 -
your not trying to win with franks mixtape it's a complete gimmick build
0 -
Yeah I would have no problem with it being gimmicky if it was something like a common add-on but it's a very rare and you would literally have an easier time playing baby nurse against red rank survivors.
This is why I don't have any problem with the speed limiter type add-ons they remain common add-ons so using them is more of a gimmick.
However when you start heading the spectrum of rare add-ons and higher you really shouldn't have any extremely gimmicky add-ons.

They need to get rid of it, taking away the blood made sense IF they didn't make DW not go down inside your TR. This was to get rid of following the blood so the DW can instadown them but that doesn't work so the strategy doesn't work so the blood not being able to be seen doesn't make any logical sense.
They implemented features to stop players from being able to be toxic towards Survivors and make Legion's power fair but the problem is they went too far and implemented features for problems they already solved, basically giving someone dentures because they don't have teeth but then attach a tube that leads directly to their stomach so they don't have to chew. ''But doctor I don't need the tube, I can eat my food normally now'' and then the doctor says ''but now you don't have to'' and the doctor smiles and writes into his notes that the patient was extremely hostile and may need anti-psychotics.
