It's not that the event was delayed to fix bugs, it's the fact that they launched it even when bugs weren't fixed

People got pissed that the event was delayed due to bugs just a few days ago.
Now people are pissed there's bugs but the event launched.

Wow you really showed us! Come on guys, we better not say anything critical at all when a dev we are supporting with our money continually fails to deliver!

they added just the decoration for the halloween event. we can't buy halloween cosmetics without the rift xd

People are irritated that after a significant delay, things are still not working properly. That is completely reasonable.

Is it unreasonable to expect an event to launch without bugs after it was delayed for over a week to fix said bugs? Lol

They delayed the event to FIX the bugs.
The patch launched with huge bugs that caused the archives to be disabled.

No they don't deserve a break. They announced Archives in June and have presumably been working on them some before that and definitely since then. They had a delay and were incredibly vague about why there was the delay. They just gave broad reasons and most of them pointed to issues with non-pc versions of the game. Then, they decide to launch the event and the most important feature of the update is broken and immediately disabled. Yes, it needed to be turned off, but they should have never launched the update if they weren't 100% sure the archives and rift would work as intended, not after a week long delay. If it doesn't go back up soon it's going to be an even worse ######### show than it's already been.

I'm just confused. At work right now so I don't have a good visual. Are we still able to buy vials and get bps? Are they extending the event? I wish they would do a better job explaining what this delay actually impacts.

Is it too much to expect a Delayed Patch to be working properly?
My complaints weren't about the delay itself. A Buggy patch that bad would've been awful. What did confuse me was the decision for the Event to be tied to the biggest update knowing the Devs past history of dodgey patches, They should've known there would be problems especially since it's the biggest update yet.
I get it, Mistakes happen, We are all human. But when they happen so consistently with every update the complaints are warranted.

how can someone not be pissed ??
they hit us with a delay a day before the event was supposed to launch then we had to wait a full week to get pretty much nothing
and I doubt those bugs they were fixing was caused by the event so that makes the update pointless

You say this as if those are two separate events and that they didn't BOTH happen.

I'm fine... :) :´) But i am. I more worried for people who say bought the rift and now can't access the archives or rift at the moment. So people claim to even buy teirs.

This is the first time i am complaining. The reason why i am is that the devs spent the majority of the mid chapter advertising the new feature the archives. They had to delay the mid chapter and event which i was fine with and they found issues with the archives. But now that they released the full patch and the thing that they focused on promoting the most STILL isn't working to the point where they have to disable it is starting to test my patience.

Everyone has a right to voice a negative opinion. They delayed this event and new features due to unforseen circumstances, bugs that they needed to fix.
They then released an event and feature that immediately become unusable moments after it launched.
You delayed something to fix it to make it perfect....then released it....with something that eventually made it all pointless to start with.

So the Archive has been disabled. And becasue of this you cannot progress in the Rift (and therefore you cant get serums for free cosmetics). BPS are still available (and not tied to the event). Pustula petal offerings and Hallowed items are available in the web (this is basically the only things new).

The only thing people wanted out of this is unavailable. I'm sorry, but the devs would've been smarter to not have released it until archives was ready

guys.. i am confused. is it worth it to download the patch to play or should i wait until everything is fixed? i'm out of the game for a few weeks so i don't want to go back in a broken game where nothing can be done... (i'm not interested in extra bps)

Ok so if i'm understanding correctly there is no way to collect the serums as of right now and therefor there is nothing extra to do. ok gotcha

basically thats it. You can get extra BP due to the offerings but if BP has no appeal to you then theres no point in playing (except for enjoyment of the game if you still have that).

Well right now you dont receive progress towards the event until the archives is active. So technically the event isn’t active on Xbox. Which is disappointing

I guess this way they can say they got the Halloween event out before Halloween, but not really...

I'm disappointed as I was looking forward to trying the archives. Though not enough to have a fit like some have.
