I wonder why this got changed so drastically. It was 8 seconds without add-ons or healing perks in the PTB.
Should i heal passively while doing a gen or healing someone?
I literally had to run from a Claudette trying to heal me after escaping the killer and crossing ⅓ of the swamp. While my syringe was active...
And my medkit is gone. Well why is this still an ultra rare add-on?

Conclusion: This needs a QoL change that alerts other Survivors that you used this.
Obviously not the Killer, if they are right next to you they have eyes and if they aren't then they shouldn't have that info.

It replaces another survivor healing you (16s), while still allowing you to move/act freely.
I'd imagine that is the logic behind it.

Can't the heal time be reduced by healing speed up items?

I feel like BK needs to cut that time in half.
This item isn't even Ultra Rare worthy anymore. Why is it even still in the bloodweb? Just remove it all together if it's that big of a deal.

If it needs a buff I'd make it worded such that it's just normal self healing but passive and thus both stacks with healing modifiers like Botany or the green medkit or other Survivors.
This is kept in check by the anti-healing build

In anycase the most important part of this change is that there is an 8 second window after a medkit addon is used where they can definitely be hit for sure.
Contrast before where the times overlapped thus making it a 50/50 at best and a guaranteed tank if they have both.

But also decreased by Sloppy Butcher, Thana, Dying Light and all Mangled add-ons.

I think 8 seconds was fine. Maybe even 4 seconds and the styptic 8.
