"As of Patch 2.2.0, all Killers have the same Lunge Range and speed. Their base movement speed, if it differs from 4.6m/s, gets temporarily set to that and all reach a top speed of 6.9m/s during the Lunge Attack."
I still read on a daily base in this forum people debating or complaining about the lounge attack of freddy, gf, nurse...
Is easy: the distance cover is the same, if the killer got a short weapon like freddy it will appears longer but is just to correct the weapon size. Same distance cover no netter what.

Latency comes into play as well. Good luck trying to tell someone this over the screams of hitboxes bad.

Lunges can be changed in length depending on how fast the killer is currently moving if I am correct, Feral Frenzy can show this really well

And michael in tier 3, but those are specific increases in lunge time, not speed. IE nurse after a blink has a slightly shorter lunge time therefore shortening her distance. If a FF legion starts lunging from further away, they can hit because another killer's lunge would've ended by the time they got nearer to the survivor

That is pretty much what I said but more described...
Nurse as really slow movement speed after blinking, which is why her lunge is shorter, FF legion lunges farther like you said, and Michael is actually a power thing

It is an important difference to make though - speed means their time spent lunging is shorter therefore reducing chase times.
