Do you like to play hero or you just play depending the situation?

I actually like to play hero all the time, I prefer to unhook someone and see him escape even if that got me killed (I just care for pips and/or BP)

Is this common? Do you like playing hero even if the odds are against you (like a camping Bubba)? Or do you prefer to survive at the expense of a dying teammate?

Of course playing hero IN HARD SITUATIONS (like a camper or tunneler killer) needs 2 things: YOU NEED TO HAVE BT OR KNOW HOW TO SAVE OTHERS WHEN NOT HAVING THAT PERK

THIS TOPIC DOES NOT APPLY TO SAVING SURVIVORS WHO HID ALL GAME, NEVER DID GENS, SAND BAGGED, ETC.

    Depends on the situation.

I normally always try and save but I won't if the killer is camping or tunnelling all game. I wont reward certain strats.

I know... I do that too... I mean, most of times I get the rescue, but sometimes I just give the killer another K

Most of time but I always focus on 2 gens at least so my team doesn't lose hope and kill themselves on the hook

I usually play the hero if I know I am about to get downed by the killer after a chase.

No pallets, no windows, but there is someone hooked. Most of the time they will just hit be twice and allow the unhooked survivor to go scott free.

Sometimes, they'll slug me and chase the unhooked survivor. If they are good enough in a chase it could negate me getting hooked once and being healed by another teammate.

Most of the time I don't run Borrowed Time though, however that doesn't seem to be an issue in my experience.

I play somewhat immersed. Fixated is my new best friend.

I casually walk super fast towards a teammate getting picked up and land a blind, then IDK. I don’t get chased a lot.

I just search chests and do gens. If my team falls apart, I'll try to help but I like to keep my own bases covered.

I prefer to remain unseen myself, but I'll adapt as the situation warrants it.

I do if others aren't going for the save. I don't run borrowed time, so I'll take a hit or be downed to rescue the survivor. It depends on the situation.

There was one game today where the huntress was standing on the stairs to the basement facing outward with her hatchet raised, so I just left. I couldn't figure out why the others weren't saving the survivor, (I could see with bond that we were all around), until I got to the top of the basement stairs and saw that. Oh my. :)

I'll always try the save if I think I can get them out. Even of it means my death.

Depends. If it's a camping killer at the end I gladly trade my life for my team mate and do a basic 1 for 1 unhook. If it's noed or Bubba there is no point to be a hero, it's just going to gift the killer more kills.
