Dear Devs: Why does Undetectable get countered by Detection Perks?
Makes no sense at all. I mean the Status "Undetectable" says what it does: You can't be detected. But why can certain perks detect the undetectable?
So in other words: Spine Chill and Premonition should not detect the undetectable. Period!
And yes, I'm glad you guys work on certain aspect that ruined stealth killers. Kudos for that. But don't stop halfway through and say it's intended. Stealth means you don't know someone/something is coming, unless the stealth killer makes a mistake and blows his/her cover.

Probably because the Devs are worried that entitled Survivor mains would whine and complain if Killers like Ghostface and Myers could just stare at them without getting a warning.

Myers could've already do that and no one really complained.

Never know with them, they probably just didn’t want stealth Killers to be TOO strong, because having a Killer in a game called ‘Dead By Daylight’ be viable is a bad thing in their eyes.

Some people praise Spine Chill so much, that the forums would explode if it would ever get nerfed.
This whole Undetectable thing was just a excuse to indirectly nerf Object of Obsession, because they couldn't think at a better solution to fix that perk.

Because ultimately, that is what those perks are designed to do. They don't outright tell you exactly where they are, but they do tip you off that the killer is nearby. If they don't detect stealth killers, they basically do nothing. You don't need premonition to tell you that the killer is nearby when they already have a terror radius.
I would suggest approaching from unexpected angles and not looking directly at the generator you think they're on until you're close if you think someone is running one of them. Odds are they're probably relying on it to tip them off, use it to your advantage to catch them off guard.

That's what I been doing and its been working out just fine. Granted I only had 2 people with Spinechill in my last game.

Right, what about Kindered not "trumping any killer's stealth abilities" and not showing his aura even though if you were leaning towards Solos and SWF being on the same lvl, Kindered should reveal killer's aura no matter what cause "it trumps any killer's stealth abilities"

It still shows everyone on the map. Just gen rush the hell out of the camping killer.

Same can be said of killers. That is why statements like this are absolutely useless and foolish. There are entitled children on both sides, so perhaps try offering something helpful. Even if it is not well received.
Such as, the perks work vs undetectable because they were designed to surpass stealth without breaking it or revealing the killer's exact position.

The actual description of the status states that it removes the killer's red stain an TR, which does technically remove the main way of detecting a killer for a BASEKIT survivor. The whole point of perks it to give optional abilities to enhance the baseline survivor or killer.

Makes sense, but isn't that unhealthy for the game ? As you said, these perks do almost nothing besides countering stealth killers. So now we have a situation of a gamble perk, that may pay off, but may also do "almost nothing", it's unfun for both the survivor using said perks and the killer. (assuming they get unlucky and happen to play someone like Michael) As you continue to play with stealth while designing killers the problem will escalate, so honestly, I'd rework them. They're legacy perks anyway, a breath of fresh air wouldn't hurt :P

how the hell is that entitlement people with some brain cells don't want detection perks to be useless against a chunk of killers
