The new nurse feels wrong
I played a lot of matches with the new nurse lately, trying to get used to her. But I can't, it feels so wrong and uncomfortable. If you miss a blink and you don't have another you are forced to walk waiting it to recharge, and the survivor takes a ton ######### of distance while this is happening so... rip nurse on closed map I guess? (unless you are the mindreader of the year and predict the exact spot they're going).
Also why was the cooldown added? I thought the fatigue acted as a cooldown; but now you have to go through fatigue and then wait for it to recharge a single blink to teleport, in-game nurse feels really bad.

It's so bad. She has no chance on maps like Yamaoka, Lery's, Hawkins, and she's drastically hindered on LOS areas like jungle gyms and main structures like the Asylum. The reason her basekit should still exist is the ability of a coordinated swf to completely demolish literally over 80% of the roster except her. Yet the devs don't seem to understand just how formidable and broken they can be.
It's a mix of wanting to balance for solo and killers being the lower population.
Personally, I feel survivors should get voice chat WITH the ability to mute specific people or turn it off completely. There people who may argue that 1, that's a huge buff to survivor. To that, I'd say we can finally balance towards swf and not solo, as well as how ranking works with that. Others may say that it'd ruin the experience of the game. You have the ability to turn it all off completely, so you are only taking issue with the fact that you're hindering yourself.
WIth a change to how ranking works, I estimate this change will lead to better teammates at the higher ranks and those who meme around will just be muted and not have a great time. It's a 1v4 game, you're suppose to cooperate with each other to win. This will also allow us to bring back basekit Nurse as well as raise other killers to the level of competency with swf in mind.

It's really bad. Good luck with a 2k hr survivor with Iron Will at a jungle gym. Does anyone on staff play Nurse at red ranks? Was it a consideration?

if they increase nurse base speed to 105% i think everything will be fine... right now she is too map and survivor dependant

I was learning her on PS4 previously and was starting to get the hang of the blinks. Tried her today because I wanted to equip her hallowed blight cosmetic and got absolutely crushed. I find it even more frustrating to play with the way she currently is.

i saw in an interview that noone on the dev team has gotten above rank 8, or some other purple rank

One second more of fatigue. It's so easy, why does BHVR not understand, that looking at the ground moderatly longer is better than standing around for three seconds doing nothing.

I don't know what interview you saw, but multiple devs stream the game on Twitch. I've seen that both Peanits and not_Queen both usually hit red ranks on killer.

Going against old Nurse was much better than getting destroyed by HillyezmodeBilly or Spirit.

Legit. "minor touch too her base kit" my ass. I agree with OP, she feels clunky and is so easy too beat now. She's still strong, but there was 0 reason too touch her base kit so harshly. I'm hoping they fix it, but probably not. She'll fall into the oblivion of forgotten killers like Legion never too be touched again.

Practice makes perfect use her more and you will see that she is still the best killer of all before jumping to conclusions.

They should've extended the fatigue duration that's comparable to her current cool-down on her blinks.
Survivors get more opportunities to break LoS, it dosen't feel awkward, and you don't have to rage when you're 0.1 seconds early on your blink cool-down. 😭
