Ash vs Evil Dead is way better than Evil Dead

I started the series watching the tv show (mostly because it has Lucy Lawless/Xena and I’m a hopeless bisexual/lesbian idk I know I like girls but I also know that theoretically Bruce Campbell is hot) and I saw Evil Dead was on Hulu, so I’m watching it...and there’s not really a whole lot of plot or personality. Just a lot of screaming.

As an Evil Dead newbie, I’m just a little surprised I like the show so much more than the original.

Update: Have now seen Evil Dead 2 and that was much better than the original, and has the same atmosphere and personality I’m familiar with. I wonder if Hulu has Army of Darkness.

    Read the character bio as a start. The scene as I recall was extrapolated from S1 E1 of AvED.

    The laughing deer and posessed hand from Evil Dead 2 will always have a special place in my heart.
