What killers do you not use ruin on
I've been trying to not use ruin as often because some games it is unreliable and annoying. But out of my mains (plague,spirit,hag,pig) I could only achieve that on plague and spirit. Spirit cuz, she's just spirit but with plague I use than and dying along with monitor and infectious fright and that adds a lot of lethality. I wanna try with hag next but I'd rather not due to her being a 110% movement killer and pig will prob never try.

For hag, shes one of my favorites atm so I use monitor, sloppy, nurses and stbfl. Hag can have alot fo pressure on gens if you trap right, you just have to have a build that can pressure everyone if you dont use ruin.

I only use Ruin on Plague, along with Dying Light, Thanatophobia, and BBQ for maximum slowdown. I use Devour Hope on other killers except for Legion and Ghostface. On Legion I use Nurses, Sloppy, Thanato, and Dying Light, also for slowdown, and Ghostface gets such easy instadowns you don't really need DH, I use Brutal Strength, Discordance, BBQ, and Nurses on Ghostface for a basic M1 killer build.

I find I'm using it less and less as it tends to get wiped out too quickly.
Also once survivors see its Ruin at my rank they go off looking for it and that actually makes them harder to find rendering it all pointless.
Now at least I know they will be at the gens...

Only Nurse really since she still ignores the maps/chase mechanics.
I don't play much spirit but i'd probably do the same with Spirit after a while.

I'll try that. I actually use that build but switch monitor and stbfl around but ima try to take out ruin and run those both and see how I do.

I use the range addon and setting time addons with it, you injure as much as you can and use stbfl to hit and teleport fast, nurses and sloppy with a 16 meter terror radius is insanely fun as your basically a survivor at that point 😂

Depends on the build.
I've been using Aaron's build a lot on Spirit lately, I pretty much only use that build and Hex Roulette on Spirit now.
Sometimes on Myers I'll run Brutal Strength, Enduring, Fire Up, and Bamboozle.
There's some Killers that I rarely play that I don't use Ruin on, and I'll use Pop instead.
One of those Killers is Trapper, but that's just because I don't have Ruin or Corrupt on him so I use Pop instead.
...It doesn't work.

I don't use ruin on any of my killers, simply because i don't own hag, and i don't plan to get her anytime soon.
No one likes ruin, so don't use it if possible

I like its effects, I hate it when its immediately cleansed. As survivor it just makes gens take mabye 10-15 seconds longer.

I use it as I need it, I am trying to learn some killers more so need ruin as training wheels

I just don't like it. When i play as survivors, i really hate it, so i don't want to spread the hate when i play killer.
Actually i'm still doing well even without ruin or PGTW, because it actually makes you better in downing survivors as fast as possible
Ps: i play all killers i own without add-ons, not just top tier

I use Ruin on Pig. Everyone else I either use Corrupt Intervention or something else that's not Ruin.

I always use addons if I have em. Dont really see the point in NOT using SOMETHING, since im forced to buy more than I can ever use when lvling the characters.

I don't use Ruin, and haven't since the first month it came out. Yeah the slowdown is nice when it works, but for the most part it gets cleansed right away. I find the other "Generator Hater" perks: PGTW, DL, Thana, CI, TT, Overcharge, UP, Surge, and even Huntress Lullaby, to be more effective than Ruin overall. Main reason is because Ruin is always expected since so many people use it, so most survivors Just go looking for it as soon as they spawn in.
Take Plague for example; My favorite build for her is currently DL, PGTW, Thana, Surge, None of those perks can be eliminated immediately, and all of them empower her with a massive slowdown advantage against survivors who refuse to cleanse at her fountains. Why would I want to put Ruin into that build when she has such a good synergy with those perks? If I did, it would only weaken the build.
Ruin also doesn't do much against gen rush tactics, whether it stays in all game or not, so for me, I'd rather be applying as much pressure as possible with other perks than relying on 1 that has a high probability of becoming useless in the first minute of the game.

Billy, Hag, Spirit, fredster, Plague. Those are the killers I don't really run ruin on, it may seem weird for Plague but I use an ultimate slowdown build on her.
All those killers except plague have amazing map pressure that doesn't require me to have some slowdown in the beginning, although I do use CI on Hag for my setup in the mid map.

I play pig without ruin, I do use Thana, Dying Light, Pop and Nurse's

If I was trying to rank up then I would use ruin on every killer. No exceptions. However, I've been going out of my way to purposely not rank up to make doing the rift challenges easier so I've removed ruin from all my killers.

People at high rank often cleanse it pretty fast and I bet they don't mind playing against one less perk. The lower in rank you go the more detrimental it becomes though. People should learn to appreciate it still because it gives you incentive to get better at skill checks which in turn gets you better at chases when you screw them up. If you refuse to break stealth or just want to switch it up it's also an opportunity to learn totem placement. Once you get consistent at greats and you get a killer not running Ruin it feels like you're stealing candy from a baby.

I don't use it on any of the mobile killers. Nurse, Spirit, Billy. I also don't use it on Pig because I would rather they didn't look for my Devour and do gens so my traps activate.
