So you openly admit to use a perk which can or can not be influenced by the actions of other people and can cause a bug on which you have no control over, which affects only the other people.

Wouldnt ot be easier for them to hotfix it instead of witch hunting through salty survivor reports becaude he had to use his eyes instead of his ears? Honestly, with the amounts of complaints about Tinker, someone who didnt play the game might think survivors have 1st person insyead of 3rd...

Nope. There's no way to prove who's using it because of the exploit and who's using it just because.

No they aren't but you still shouldn't abuse it.

Survivors closed the door on that one with the instant flashlights. Good luck convincing any Killers not to abuse an exploit after that debacle.

is it really bugged?
cause the bug is written even in the patchnotes as a normal change.
• Tinkerer: When a generator is repaired to 75%, Killer receives a loud noise indicator and Terror Radius is reduced to 0 meters for 810/12 seconds. NOTE: Add-ons are no longer affected by this perk.
Yes it is a bug. Sometimes the heartbeat never returns during the match but requires specific circumstances. It is kind of fun to play against sometimes imo.

I used the bug because I hadn't heard of it before and I wanted to play Leatherface who had tinkerer 2 coincidentally. Instantly got reported by all of them I think xD

yes. It shouldn't last forever after the first gen. That's the bug apparently

well 810 seconds is like forever...
and then it gets resetet, everytime a gen is nearly done.

i know it should mean 8/10/12 sec in the patchnotes.
but they write 810 seconds.

so what if the implement that, just like that into the game?

That awkward moment, when you might get banned for using a broken perk on accident, but survivors exploiting don't get the bat of an eye. Fun world.

I don't think they can ban people for using a perk...

That'd be bs because its impossible to tell who is abusing it and who is just running Tinkerer

That is probably the case
I am not surprised honestly because they dont do internal testing

i dont think so. they rather try to solve the problem and unbug the perk.

Either way, Survivors closed the door, burned the bridge, salted the earth, etc., on that one when they relentlessly abused instant flashlights. Now, personally, I refuse to exploit on either side and in any multiplayer game, but I don't blame Killers for doing so, given the crap they usually put up with.

I'm pretty sure there will be no bans, because there were no for when Left Behind was bugged.

Like 100% sure.
