Was Ash taken by the Entity?
In Ash's lore, it says that a Deadite was supposed to teleport him to his friends. But he ended up in the realm of the Entity. Does this prove that there are other ways to enter the Entity's realm?

I think the summoning of the portal from the demon and Ash failed because if we look at what happened Ash tried to resist going into the portal as if something unexpected occured. Why would he hold onto the locker and say "FUU" when he got sucked into the portal even though he even threatened the demon because he wanted to enter the portal? The answer it wasn't the portal of the demon but the Entity taking both of them. The only question unanswered then would be what happened to the demon

Ash's lore makes it clear that he (as usual) messed up the ritual. Instead of being reunited with Pablo, Kelly, and Brandy, he accidentally summoned the Entity. Or at least, opened a portal to its realm. It's not one hundred percent clear. The Entity never fully grabbed him like it did with Kate, but Steve was just sent through a hole that opened up, so it is possible that Ash got the Entity interested.
I think my explanation just made it more confusing, but I tried.

Idk if it applies here (Idk much about Ash), but the Entity practically made a copy of Bill.
One's in Dead by Daylight and was revived by the Entity, the real one died and is still dead in Left 4 Dead.
Maybe that happened here too?

Remember the Entity has the power to reanimate both bodies and souls so it's in the "realm" of possiblity that Bill's body and/or soul was snatched and reanimated by the Entity.

It sounds like whatever ritual Ash accidentally ended up performing gained its attention... In a weird way, it's implied the Necronomicon has an obscure tie to the Entity. Maybe it had its innumerable eyes on Ash for some time, and during that ritual he was left vulnerable to its influence.
