Do you believe next month we'll get another winter solstice event? I kinda don't
I kinda don't think we'll get one because they had a struggle with this halloween event that is currently going on until the 13th of November.
I'd love a Xmas event but since there was no summer event and the halloween event was an issue i don't see it happening, All I see them doing is giving us the xmas sweaters again as well as new ones.
it will be during chapter 14 I believe

They struggled with this event so i can see them deciding not to bother going ahead with a winter solstice part 2, they''ll likely do what they did with the summer event just release an xmas outfit collection for some survivors.

As long as we get the Christmas Presents in the Bloodweb again, I think I'll be fine with it.

I think quite the opposite: Because this event was the way it was, i'd wager the winter event'll be better.

I don't know that we can assume the event was what they struggled with. There was an update to the game engine and the dev posts I saw seemed to hint that may have been more of the issue.

Halloween and Winter events seem to be something that all games do, and something that they've managed to do well for the most part.
Best case scenario, they already planned it. But its a very simple event, like this year's blight event just reusing last year's winter assets.
Worst case scenario we'll just get a BP bonus again, as the last few patches have shown us things have gotten delayed a lot and the event stuff has to be pushed back into the back of the fridge.

Agreed there's probably people right now who aren't playing DBD until the halloween event is over and I honestly don't blame them.

I hope so, just to simply make up for the major disappointment that was this "Halloween event". Instead of just doing the bare minimum, why not fill the lobby with snow and decorations, add Christmassy sounding music, decorate the maps, and of course give us Winter/Christmas cosmetics? Not to sound entitled, but is that too much to ask, especially since they've done it before? I'd like to think not because I feel like the reason the Halloween event was so lackluster is because they were more focused on the rift/archives. Now that those are in the game, I think it's safe to say they are more freed up to give us a proper "event" this time. Here's hoping, fingers crossed.

I would love to see an event but honestly I’m not expecting much. I would be sorely disappointed if there are no Christmas presents and double bloodpoints.

Then they'll just give us Xmas cosmetics like I had said originally it seems like these events take up to much time and resources, That and now archives is a thing I doubt we'll get a lunar event either.

Alot of the reason the event was delayed is because it was connected to the update, which added alot of stuff. Besides, the solstice event only ever adds addons, offerings, or shiny eye cosmetics, so it shouldn't be that hard.

Yeah, usually there's decorations snow and lights, but those should just be old assets they can reuse by this point.

There's no way we're getting a proper winter event.
We'll just have reused music and assets from last year, a bunch of skins, and a blood hunt.
I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but it's just not happening.

Its never been more than Christmas lights, bp event and presents in the bloodweb.
