Yeah, theyd be better off with original content based on the stereotypes of popular licensed characters, atleast for survivors.
Or maybe i just dont know popular potential survivors.
( Also how comes theres no Michelle Rodriguez in that list, wouldnt even matter which of her roles lol)

as I previously pointed out, there is a lack of survivors from pre 1900s..despite the fact the game's lore goes as far back as ancient babylon. even if they didn't go that far back, the in game lore points to as recently as 1890s.. it would be nice to have some historical figures show up.. like people who disappeared in real life throughout history (db cooper, amelia airheart etc). Not sure why all the survivors have to be from modern times. this would evolve the story of the game..cuz currently there's all this in game lore about this guy from the 1800s and a priestess from ancient babylon..and it really is not fitting into the overarching narrative at all. like..if the entity can abduct a killer from 1000s of years ago..why not a survivor? 0 sense made. Why even talk about this guy who got abducted by the entity in the 1890s and have so much of the game's plot revolve around him. It's all very convoluted and out of place. if the entity can transcend time, it would be nice to start seeing characters from the past and future. Or, since survivors are all just skins anyway, why not have custom ones where the game can recognize your face and put you into the game. that would be cool..
If not this, hoping for that REsistance / DBD crossover event :)
