Killers, how long are your wait times?

I live in the Eastern US and have played at all hours (late night, early morning, noon, afternoon, etc), and found that regardless of time of day, the wait time to get into a lobby (not to start the game, but just to get into a lobby with x survivors | x>-1 ) is averaging 10 minutes.

This being at ranks 18 through 9, so the wait times seem to be longer than the actual match regardless of rank.

    About 5 - 15/20 Minutes, but I'm at rank 17.

    Like 10-20 seconds. Eastern US here, usually on pretty much the entire day. I’m currently sitting at rank 4 right now

    Currently a rank 4 survivor.

    Been waiting 10 mins so far...anyone else having this long of a wait time?

    EDIT: Just saw this was for killers, but still, if there are quick killer lobbies, there must be too many survivors?

    Like 5-30 seconds for US East Coast PS4 at all ranks.

    I took months off and decided to play when the archives came out. This has my ranks down below 15. It's taking me 15-20 minutes on average to find a lobby, so i usually end up just quitting the game and playing something else. edit to add location:/time, mid-day CST, midwest USA/NA

    A few seconds in the red ranks. I'd like to assume thanks to survivor challenges requiring multiple matches for a few of them is buffing up survivor side a bit more than normal, but it's been out for over a week now.

    Eastern US.

    Killer queue are usually 5-20 seconds (unless there is a release of a new chapter killer or a bloodhunt event, in which case it may sometime take 1-3 minutes.)

    But PS4.

    We seriously need more killer-players on PS4 US East. Come join the platform! Tell your killer friends!

    Basically non-existent. Get matches within seconds of queuing up. Rank 1 Xbox. Solo survivor can take up to 2 or 3 minutes sadly

    i usually click on "find a match" and after only like 10 - 15 seconds it found me a match.

    PS4 killers get insta ques between rank 1-10.

    Survivors have probably a 3 - 5 min wait in those ranks.

    If they add console + PC cross play both problems could be solved. I pretty much give up on survivor once I hit red ranks and just play killer the rest of the month.

    Oh god it takes so long, it's basically waiting simulator for me. I'll be watching YouTube to the point of forgetting I'm playing the game, and I alt tab and am still not in a lobby.

    It would be helpful if more posts note the rank, times, platform, and general physical location.


    OP I'm also East Coast US and on PC I'm seeing about a 10 minute wait as well. I usually play after 9pm ET with a rank 15 or so killer. I don't really play killer any more because of it, but have to for challenges. I pretty much survivor main only now. Back in the beginning I only played killer because I couldn't find survivor games. Times have changed.

    Another note slightly off topic, I've found that if three survivors join, it takes forever to find the 4th. I guess that must mean a shortage of solo players? Often after minutes of waiting some or all of the survivors leave, and then it quickly fills up. Probably with SWF teams. I wonder what the percentage of SWF to solo players are, on PC Steam always shows tons of players.

    Seems to be varying a lot.

    In off hours like mid day killer que is like 5 minutes. However during peak hours my killer que's are instant and much faster than survivor queues of which are now a couple minutes.

    15-45 minutes, west coast Canada. I am a survivor main but I’d be a killer main if I didn’t have to wait so fricking long.

    Sweden. 10-15 minutes as Killer. Survivor queue is basically instant.
