Tips on playing Nurse (Rework)
I never was interested in playing her before rework but I've been spending a lot of time trying to get her down since update, I'm wondering if anyone else is playing her after rework, builds and tips appreciated.
For example how do you counter survivors running at you when you blink?
what add-ons should I run, what perks what is possible with her now.
please do not turn this into a "Nurse is trash now" discussion. thank you

Only advice I can give? Bare minimum run 1 of the cooldown addons..shes crippled without them

To answer your first question,
You can quickly aim at the ground to stay in place and they'll run into your arms
To answer your second quest, for practicing use that common addon (dont remember the name ..."Plaid Fannel", I think) which allows the Nurse to see the location of her Blink
For perks:
If you feel like you're not a good Nurse player, run ruin.
BBQ&Chili is great on her. PGTW( Pop Goes The Weasel) is good too. Im all Ears is incredibly underrated with Nurse, its basically a free hit.
Remember:
Nurse is all about fast reactions.
And good framerate x)

The cooldown puts a hard cap on her potential. You're better off learning Spirit. She is a lot easier to learn and gives similar results. Her add-ons are also miles ahead of nurses.

I don't like spirit. when I play survivor I see a lot of her. Really I think spirit is an easy killer that doesn't take a lot of difficulty to play. I prefer mid/low tier killers. Nurse being the exception.

I just don't use her anymore.
She's literally 0 fun to play as for me, now.

I really like playing Vroom Vroom nurse.
Use the add on that takes away blink after successful blink hits and increases speed to 4.6 m/s. Second add on can be whatever but I like the one that makes survivors scream when you blink past.
Perks are just standard meta nurse perks from before; Sloppy, Ruin, BBQ, Nurse’s Calling.

Nurse still requires heavy mechanics to be effective. You have to get the blink locations down and practice the distances, and have your next blink charged in mind, you have to predict survivor movement and blink on top of them or cut them off. If you're learning Nurse get her brown add on that shows the blink location to get a feel of where the blink is. Then play her with no add ons just to get a feel for her power then you can tweak and experiment.

Thank you, yeah the Plaid add on has been helping I will have to play with no add ons. I appreciate it

I would recommend using any slow down perks just to get the most benefit and delay the match as much as possible. Ruin, Discordance, PGTW/Overcharge, Thanatophobia, Surveillance, Corrupt Intervention, Surge, Thrilling Tremors.

When you're learning, it's helpful to take perks that slow down and extend the game, because you're going to be learning her 3 to 5 minutes at a time. If you're stupid like me and waited until you were already at red ranks to start learning, it's going to be super painful.
In chases, identify the type of survivor right away. Survivors typically either panic and run aimlessly, bait an over-blink and double back, or bait an under-blink and provoke a missed lunge.
Pay attention to where to the survivor is looking. Do not fully charge a blink when the survivor is looking right at you. You'll blink past them 90% of the time.
Because of the change to her reappearance animation, survivors can get out of lunge range before you can initiate your lunge if they react quick enough. You can blink correctly and still get "outplayed". Survivors often try to bait out premature lunges this way. Blink, confirm the distance and do a corrective blink if needed, then lunge.
You're going to need to almost look at the sky to quickly blink through jungle gyms, shack, cars, etc. Dedicated servers are what they are. Have to adjust. Look up to increase distance and look down if you suddenly realize you need to decrease distance.
Line of sight breaks are really tough. Good rule of thumb: blink to the last corner they turned. This also goes back to paying attention to where the survivor is looking. If they're looking at you, you can fake like you are anticipating that they won't double back on you (they are watching you aim) and flick at the last second to where they'll double back to.
I could go on for a while. Nurse is the deepest killer from a mechanical standpoint. Just don't overperform. We can't take a longer cooldown.

Wow that's a lot to pay attention to but I will try, I'm rank 5 Killer right now so its pretty tough. but thank you
