Good Headphones for sound I guess. You can usually hear survivors breathing in the grass and such.

:( that sucks. you could try perks like discordance I suppose. Just focus on gens and not worry about the middle. If they’re already off the gen at that point, you could use your collision through the grass. That’s really all I got lol. I feel your pain especially if they’re blendettes

Yamaoka is probably the most survivor sided map in the game. It's wide, long, covered in hideable bushes, multiple elevated platforms, the map has barely any rng at all. If you have bad eyesight, maybe play Wraith with Bloodhound and Sloppy Butcher.

I don't know what the perk is called but there's a certain killer perk that, when a generator is completed, shows the auras of survivors within a certain range of that generator. Really helpful if more than one survivor is working on the same generator or if there are multiple generators close together and survivors are working on (or are near) them.
I also find that playing as Wraith is super easy for hunting down survivors and putting pressure all over the map. I'm new so I'm not all that experienced with the game but I've had a lot of luck with Wraith.

Pray. Try to down them quickly so you don't have to worry about longer chases where you'll end up losing them.

Try not to let them out of your sight, predict their movement and stay close to the scratch marks. It all comes down to your experience as a killer AND as a survivor.
Sound is most important for the grunts of pain and movement in the bushes, but that’s out of the equation for you.
