Is playing a female survivor easier than a male?
I’m curious. It’s clear female survivors are smaller which makes it easier to hide. Plus, their crouch makes them duck a bit more.
Male survivors don’t duck as much crouching, and are obviously much bigger.
So I wanna know, do you play a certain gendered survivor for their advantage?
I, personally, love playing the female ones (and no, not that for that reason) I just haven’t played the guys as much thus don’t have much of a connection with them as much as I have one with Claudette, Nea, Feng, and Kate. My mains <3

the only female survivor I actually play is Claudette the rest I only leveled for teachables

Much easier. The size difference is make or a break a lot of the time imo. This is why I think overall the males sounds should be much quieter to compensate and the girls being the loudest.

Can't say I've ever noticed the height difference honestly. I just always assumed they were all the same since we're usually all at the same height when doing Gens. I usually play as David, he's my fave survivor. For female, it'd have to be Feng. I love her Spring Festival outfit

A recent match would say that both are loud! I was hunting down a Nea that escaped, and could hear her getting healed. It was on Coldwind in the House, and as I walked up the stairs, I could hear a Dwight, who was also injured, moaning with Nea. I swear it was so loud I thought they were getting it on in a locker! I almost walked away to give them some privacy ?

For the sake of hiding visually, yes female survivors are smaller and thus easier for the killer to overlook. Some survivors are very noticeably louder though, regardless of gender. Ace is rather quiet while Jane sounds like shes auditioning for a porno anytime shes injured.

You heard that and went to check it out anyway? You perv, lol.

I play female characters because i love to play as them. So far i have 'all perks' on Feng, Nea, Laurie, Kate, Claudette, Jane and Dwight. Next is Meg and Nancy after that is whatever female character comes after. Yep all girls and a Dwight.

It was totally for... Science reasons. Yeah... Science :D

Claudette is actually OP

I've P3d Kate and Feng, and am working on Jane now. I just prefer female characters. Jane is really loud though so I don't play her without Iron Will.

Because its nice to look at them. Like Nea with school skirt.
However I think girls should be louder, while guys should be more quiet to make up their size (especially Jeff should have Iron will 1 by default). It will balance between the size & the noise

I notice a difference. For me the guys feel huge and don't crouch as low. If you're trying to hide behind a tire or behind a vault you can see their heads or their arms sticking out.
The only time Male survivors crouch lower is when they're injured lol.

Feng is the shortest I think? I mostly play her but stealth is never an option because I always use the blue hair cosmetic and the pink dress so I’m basically a moving “I’m over here” sign.

i like the female survivor because they are less in the way when the camera is following them while running around. it gives more view around and also the sounds they make are less obnoxious

I get given the hatch more often when I play a female character.

######### love Jane

It's easier to hide with the female characters.
We need a cute, not-so-tall male survivor!
2 -
Female survivors are almost meta choice, because they have much better crouch animations than male survivors. They can hide behind obstacles males can't even use, making them way more efficient at stealth potential.

are you saying that this isn't a cute not-so-tall male survivor?
3 -
"The only female character I play confirms the OPs theory and is the most egregious example anyone could give." lmao

EXACTLY! A feminine male survivor who moves and has the same animations as the ladies! :D I always thought about that, but I know it will most likely never happen. Fair enough.

*Cries in Jeff main without Iron Will.

Kinda? Someone like Jane who is so thicc and loud it doesn't make a difference whether your loud or not Claudette however is small and quieter ace is also large but quiet unlike Jeff who's large and very loud

It's a size difference thing for me. I started as a Nea when I got the game and it just looks weird having a bulkier character on my screen. I identify with Claudette's backstory the most anyway. If you're concerned about volume though, Ace has built in Iron Will, and Stridor doesn't really work on him if he runs Iron Will.

Poor Jeff. Largest Survivor and extremely loud.
Rip ?

I can't stand playing male survivors they take up the screen, they're really loud, and they have a bigger hitbox.

Hitbox is the same for every Survivor. Only the visual model is different.
