Im just spit balling here but
Would it be the worst thing if they removed generators all together and put in a different objective that takes longer but is more interactive for survivors to escape, while centering the game around chases?
as it stands killers have a hard time committing to good chases Bc it’s game throwing, while survivors don’t really want to get stuck with more gen time so killers can do this. It’s a lose lose situation with gens due to how lackluster they are as the primary objective and how game throwing they are if you are in this game for chases(on either side). which the majority of both sides are.
what do you guys think?

I think in its current state removing generators in general would just be plain impossible. Half of the perks (hyperbole) revolve around them, they've been the main goal for years, the rift and achievements revolve around them. Theyre just too engrained into the core gameplay loop to remove
Could they be spiced up, or maybe tweaked, of course definitely, but theyre impossible to remove
