Something *IS* missing
So, I dunno if anything like this has been posted yet, but recently BHVR has tweeted that something is missing, with a GIF from the "First Cut" trailer.
So I took it upon myself to investigate.
In rewatching the trailer and comparing the GIF and video, I saw no noticeable difference, until somebody told me too look ingame and here's what I found:
One of the swords IS missing! No clue if this is a bug or not, but I wanted to post this for fun.

Isn't there two swords missing, it's a set of three

In the trailer Rin's father is using one of them, which is now the weapon The Spirit wields in game.
It's probably?? safe to assume that whatever the next killer is maybe going to use that katana?

We may be reading too much into it..the alchemist said hed tear the killers and survivors apart to get the serum..so..if he went for it he would need a weapon..not something you just find lying around..except at the yamokoa estate..hopefully this is the case because its awesome

Yeah that's what I'm thinking/hoping too. In that cutscene the Alchemist looks badass and it would be a bummer if they didn't make him a killer
And the devs like to sometimes mislead people with teasers. Like the Plague for example they showed the smoke and censer which technically is related to her character but gave us no information about who she is and what she does. They want us to think something totally different from what is actually coming so it's a bigger surprise when we find out

This is A set of swords, but the one in the clip has different art on the walls, and is on a tall wooden mount. These ones in the game are on a smaller, wider mount with carved detail on it.
To say these are certainly the same image is just false.

Leaksbydaylight has before and after of this same spot, there used to be another sword there.

Even if they do have some physical differences, there is definitely correlation with what the devs have posted in their twitter. (The oni mask still seems to be on a stand of sorts regardless in the trailer, so it’s safe to assume they’re the same sword set, especially since you can see this same mask near two swords in game. But now one of them is gone)

They’re bringing my boy Kenshi in from MK as Survivor to properly fight off spirit.

ohhhhh the memories of the killers are missing.. ??? It chapter 2 its comming.
ALERT SPOILER
In Chapter 2, there were some important objects that were memories of when they were children, those objects were lost and now they show us in the game and the yamaoka katana is missing.
